My 10 pound bichon frise just got into some popped corn. What is the worst that can happen to her?

Ah, it's not gonna affect her much. Unless she start showing sickness, i wouldn't worry about it.

(I hope you didn't put like extra extra butter on there)

My (8lb) dog looooves popcorn, but only the full test variety. She doesn't like the 94% fat free version :) As long as your dog only had a little, she should be fine. If she ate a lot of the full fat kind, she will probably have some GI upset with a little diarrhea for a short while, but it shouldn't cause a blockage or anything. If a dog has a lot of fat/grease at one time there is always a possibility of pancreatitis, but as long as there is no vomiting or depression or profuse diarrhea she'll be fine. Make sure she has water available in case she ate some really salty pieces.

Nearly all my dogs have loved popcorn. My Yorkie only wanted it if it had butter. When I bought the unbuttered kind he would not eat it.

Anything in moderation. I would let them make a diet of popped corn, but a little bit should not be a problem. It probably will not completely digest so you will see some funny stools for a while.

Whenever I eat popcorn, which is usually once a week, my dog shares it with me. We've been doing this for several years and no harm has come to him yet. Unless the dog has an allergy to it, there wont be a problem

I have two Mini Pins and they love popcorn. They know when I am making it and the older one goes crazy. My vet said it won't hurt them, but don't overdo it. Nothing ever happens when they eat it. It's roughage and some roughage is good for dogs. Now if it was candy then I would worry. Never feed a dog chocolate, it's toxic to them.

The worst that can happen? She can puke it up on your bed..Or she could get kernels stuck in her teeth.. Or she could get sick from too much salt.. Won't hurt her likely.. The best way to teach your dog to catch, is to used plain popcorn ! If you can catch popcorn, you can catch anything.

I have the same kind of dog, and she always finds someway to get into junk food. The only thing that happens is she has slimey poop and it gets stuck in her butt hair. (so now we cut the hair short right there)

So nothing bad will happen she will just make a nasty mess

so make sure she goes outside!

Nothing will happen. My dog LOVES popcorn. It will just come out the other end eventually.

She will bounce up and down for the rest of her life, making popping noises.

I'm just kidding, my dog (and cat) get into my popcorn all the time. You probably have nothing to worry about.

Nothing. Popcorn is perfectly fine chocolate is something you should worry about. I feed popcorn to my dogs all the time as well as yogurt the LOVE that stuff.

It won't hurt her at all .. The worst it could do would just make her vomit or diarrhea is her stomach doesn't agree with it.

Most dogs so have a stomache of steel, but still, just don't be surprised if she leaves you a nasty present for you on the floor!
