i seriousely feel like im going to cry. why would you persecute a 14 year old girl for what she believes in?why do people think everything about mormons is wrong? why would you listen to those rumors? why wouldnt you ask somebody who really knows whats going on? thats all im asking. why?

What persecution are you talking about? All you have to worry about is someone calling you bad names and denying you requests for favoritism (if that).

People judge others. We are so unhappy with our own personal flaws that we seek to exploit others. Stand strong in what u believe in, unfortunately mormons have a bad name for trying to push their beliefs onto others, although u personaly may not have done that, u r still being judged for it. We listen and believe rumors everyday, sometimes knowlingly, sometimes not. Im a christian and ive been persecuted for my faith, even lost friendships that i thought id have forever, although i have never tried to force my ideas onto other people these things just make u stronger.
I really hope things pick up for you, perhaps u should help people know more about the truth about mormons by making a website or something. I for one would be interested to find out more info and actually understanding what u r really about.

Linne, you summed up the whole problem with anti's and why we say we are "persecuted". Here's what you said:
How in the WORLD can we be PREACHING the message of GOD, but we are preaching a FALSE mesage, a message of Satan???
Satan does not wnat people preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ, and yet, that's what we "Satan-led" Mormons are doing!! The GOSPEL of JESUS CHRIST!
How can good people be preaching the message of God, but preaching a false message of Satan AT THE SAME TIME???

The truth of the matter is that some people are ignorant. Anyone who makes fun or 'persecutes' another for their religious beliefs isn't worth worrying about, at least in my opinion. We are supposed to be in a free country with the freedom to worship a given right.

Some of what the Mormons do is commendable. They are willing to really get out there and preach the message of God. The problem is, they're teaching a false message. I don't have a problem with Mormons. I have a problem with satan who is twisting God's truth just enough to send people away from the one true and living God instead of toward Him.
