Holding a ritual for thirteen people from the monthly full moon worship group that I facilitate. We'll be offering food to our beloved dead, telling stories in remembrance of them, enacting a ritual play of the Goddess in the Kingdom of Death, and burning pieces of flash paper to represent things that we want to be rid of in the coming year. And of course there will be a feast afterwards.

Celebrating Halloween like I always do, but being aware that there are some origins in it that come Samhain. I consider myself a rational Zen Buddhist but I love reading about the Wheel of the Year and how pagan traditions honor the seasons and turn them into holidays. This year I think I use this time to remember my ancestors.

I had a Winters Night sumbel this last weekend as we don't share the Samhain date, but I will be going to a ritual with my Wiccan friends this weekend with a big feast and stuff.
