lol, religious nutty folks?
Ok John 3:16 says (according to Youthwalk devotional bible) 'For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
This basically means that God loved us all so much he couldnt stand the thought that we were all going to die and burn in hell (cos of all the sin we do) so he sent his only son, Jesus, to come down and live a completely sinless life, die then return to life. By doing this he defeated death and hell as he was perfect and by doing so made a way for us to reach heaven instead of hell if we believe and follow him.

John 3:16-21 says: “For God loved the world so much that he gave his only-begotten Son, in order that everyone exercising faith in him might not be destroyed but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent forth his Son into the world, not for him to judge the world, but for the world to be saved through him. 18 He that exercises faith in him is not to be judged. He that does not exercise faith has been judged already, because he has not exercised faith in the name of the only-begotten Son of God. 19 Now this is the basis for judgment, that the light has come into the world but men have loved the darkness rather than the light, for their works were wicked. 20 For he that practices vile things hates the light and does not come to the light, in order that his works may not be reproved. 21 But he that does what is true comes to the light, in order that his works may be made manifest as having been worked in harmony with God.”

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that every one who believes into Him would not perish, but would have eternal life.
The world here refers to sinful, fallen people, who constitute
the world. They have not only sin but also the poisonous element of the devil, the ancient serpent; hence, they have become serpents. They need Christ to die for them in the form of a serpent and be judged by God as their Substitute (v.·14); otherwise, they will perish (v.·16). Although men are utterly fallen, God still loves them with His divine love, which is
Himself (1·John 4:8, 16), because they are vessels created by God according to His own image to contain Himself (Gen. 1:26; Rom. 9:21a, 23). Moreover, He so loves them that He gave them His only begotten Son, His expression, that they might obtain His eternal life to become His many sons and be His corporate expression for the fulfillment of His eternal New Testament economy. Hence, God first regenerates them by His Spirit (vv. 3-6) that they may have His eternal life (vv. 15-16, 36a). Then He fills them with His unlimited Spirit (v.·34) that they may become the bride of Christ, who is above all and is all-inclusive (vv. 31-35), to be His increase and fullness (vv. 28-30).
Believing into the Lord is not the same as believing Him
(6:30). To believe Him is to believe that He is true and real, but to believe into Him is to receive Him and be united with Him as one. The former is to acknowledge a fact objectively; the latter is to receive a life subjectively.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him may not die but have eternal life.

God created us and loves us so much that He allowed Jesus to take our place and die for our sins. It is a gift to us and like all gifts, it is our choice whether we accept it or reject it. By accepting (believing in Jesus as our Saviour and having a personal relationship with Him) this gift, we are assured of a place in Heaven.

It is your choice.

God gave you an opportunity to be saved ( from hell ) if you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior. The offer is the same for everyone, and God loves us equally.

Here it is....

16For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Some hold that a belief in a deified image of Jesus will yield salvation. I would never take that from anyone. The simple faith of a child is all that is needed.

But wait.... there is more....

Jesus was called the son of Man and also the Son of God. The son of man part was the flesh and body and the God part was the divine spirit of God. The spirit of Christ. Now this spirit of Christ is defined by him in his teaching. One who has this indwelling spirit has certain characteristics.

Those who teach love reveal the indwelling spirit of Christ.

Those who preach hate do not.

Those who teach forgiveness reveal the indwelling spirit Christ.

Those who preach vengeance do not.

Those who preach peace reveal the indwelling spirit Christ.

Those who preach war do not.

Those that see the goodness in all people reveal the indwelling spirit Christ

Those that judge their brother as evil do not

Now the fullness of this spirit by any name is that spirit of Christ. Jewish mysticism refers to this spirit in terms of the 10 seferiot. Muslims call it being God conscious and attained to faith. Buddhist call it the state of the Buddha.

The other day I was in a beautiful park and filled with bliss because of the beauty of the day. All around me were people of diverse religions, race, gender, age, Muslims, Jews, Hindus, Buddhist, Christians and more. Their children were playing and laughing with joy commensurate with my own bliss. We all enjoyed the abundance of Gods love. The sun shone for all, the birds sang for all, the flowers danced with the wind that brought the sweet fragrance for us all. All of us were in total comfort and at peace basking in the glow of Gods love.

Believing in Jesus is being reborn into that divine spirit of love that I experienced that day in the park. To let the self die. To let the ego die. To love all people and things the way God loves us. To not judge anyone. To love as Jesus showed us. That is the deeper meaning of believing in Jesus. Believe in him so much that you live him.

The end goal of any religion is to take you to that state of consciousness. There are many names for it
but only one spirit of God.

Blessings and peace to all,
All in all,
B
