The old, original Hollywood Squares from the 1960's. That was some funny stuff coming from Paul Lynde and Charley Weaver (who's real name was Cliff Arquette and was the grandfather of actor David Arquette).

The Price is Right, hands down. Bob Barker was the man, and always had the right attitude when dealing with contestants. He had a natural rapport with them on an individual basis but always knew when to work the crowd when they said something funny or when something humorous happened to bring to the audience's attention. He was rarely condescending even when they clearly didn't watch the show and didn't have a clue on how to play the games. The corpulent bespectacled flamboyant-dressing white middle-aged announcers (Johnny Olson, Rod Roddy, etc.) were suitably off-beat enough to contrast with Bob and add a nice humorous touch to the show (along with Bob's repartee with them). And TPIR kept a good variety of very compelling games ("Mountain Climber," "Plinko," "The Shell Game," "Hole in One (later amended to Hole in One [or two!]") to make the show interesting for a full hour, which is something that can't be said of a lot of game shows that only had to occupy a thirty minute time slot. Even the theme songs were catchy and memorable. Perhaps most notably, it was (and still is) one of the few game shows ever to draw their contestants from the live studio audience. This increased the contestant enthusiasm level significantly because unlike on all the other shows, the person woke up that day not thinking it very likely they'd be picked out of a crowd of hundreds but are suddenly thrown into a situation where they could win thousands of dollars. This was a big draw for viewers because we could easily find ourselves react the same in that type of situation. The emotions of the contestants was more genuine and surprised.

The Price is Right with Bob Barker not Drew Carey! I also lke Figure It Out on Nick. It is a good game show for kids even though I'm none the sort.
