me and my boyfriend have just recently gotten over a huge fight. it was a result of both of lack of communication and just general stupidity on both of our parts. i want to do something special for him, but everytime i try to ask if he wants something, even if it's just me treating him to dinner, he keeps telling me he doesn't want anything.
what is something special i can do? i want to do something a little romantic for him

To be honest, guys don't really care much for you romancing them. It just doesn't mean as much to guys as it does to women. The best thing you could do is just forget about it and move on. There's always makeup sex too. That's always a winner.

This is probably gonna get thumbs downed by everyone, because the girls won't believe it's true, and it doesn't involve sex.
There's something he likes to do that you don't. It's most likely some sporting event. Get two tickets to the game and go with him. If he paints his face for the team, paint your face, too.
If it isn't sports, it's a "guy movie", a car/boat show, or fishing.
Guys mostly don't need or even generally want romantic. They want you to be part of that stuff you really don't want any part of.
Most of all, wait until the next day to remind him you aren't going to go with him next time.

The best thing you can do for him is.... Leave him the heck alone. Stop trying to smother him with stuff or suggestions. If you don't call him for 2 or 3 days, it will give hime time to cool off and start missing the good times. Then he will be more open to continue the relationship. If you keep bothering him, you'll just lose him completely.

Okay, first off don't start the precedence that after every fight you are going to do something special for him. #1 - it makes you look like you were wrong in the fight and #2 - he will grow to expect these niceties after every fight. I would just let it go and move on. So you had a fight...now its over. I would not dwell on it.

Blow during the football game - really, if he wants nothing he means he wants nothing - guys don't say one thing and mean another - guys actually speak truth, not crap.

when a Boy/Man says nothing is wrong; generally that is not true! He would love a lot of attention; though I don't know your BF, I know guys love doing something that is a lot of fun; and is memorable!

light candles and get him an im sorry card, a cute one, one that has humor, and then light candles and put it on the bed so that when he comes home he sees it.... or just put the card somewhere you know he will look, like his duffle bag, or in the cup holder things in his car..... that way he will know that you are sorry and he also needs to get the ..... over it

Surprise him. Wear lingerie, do something ouf of the ordinary. Think of something that he may want to do and has been wanting to do.
Pardon me being blunt, but if all else fails, give him the best sex of his life. It never fails, trust me. =D
