I believe their pathetic attempt to spin the guilt onto decent people of every heritage is perhaps the clearest evidence that a vacuum exists where their consciences should reign.

Cordially responding to promptings concerning any comparison my question might have raised between illegal aliens and the holocaust:

Six million were murdered by a jealous, very populous, though less-educated subset in question. Careful estimates indicate that, in the U.S., illegals kill roughly 26 U.S. citizens every day, on average. Let just ONE of those be the child or spouse of a U.S. senator and laws would change.

Its a weak attempt in the absence of anything with more merit or substance to validate breaking laws. I wouldn't even call it racism. Its more like grasping at straws.

I TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU! what frustrates me though is the laws exists on the books to stop it and our government refuses to uphold them. It is illegal for someone to enter this country without a passport or a visa. Yet we wont send them home. Illegals are putting a strain on every part of our system. our health care our social security our infrastructure. our economy and our elected officials just turn their head. Illegals demand rights under our constitution which they don't even have in their own country. The constitution starts off WE THE PEOPLE OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. If you are an illegal you ARE NOT the people of the united states. We should refuse to speak or teach anything but ENGLISH. Maybe the answer is to go and take over Mexico and annex it into the united states. then send any other illegals back to their respected country. HOW do we make our elected officials do what the law says? I am frustrated.

Let me but it to you another way. Should a person who is breaking a federal law be allowed to continue breaking that federal law? Yea, I have heard all the arguments. I have heard them for years. They all ignore a couple of simple facts. You may be a good person, or even a great person. But if you are here illegally, your are breaking the law. I do not care if you are Mother Teresa, if you are breaking the law, you ARE a criminal. I do not support keeping criminals in the US! I know all about civil unrest and breaking laws to protest some social wrong. But I have a hard time thinking you, and maybe your entire family, moved to a different country to "protest" some perceived social injustice. The fact is that you moved here to make a better life for yourself and your family. Period. I have no problem with that. Heck, I even admire it! But you loose all my support when you do it illegally. A crime is a crime is a crime. I think anyone who commits a crime should be willing to pay the price for doing so. Being sent home is better than rotting in jail. And do not forget, this is a crime committed purely for personal gain

I think you should take a GOOD look at those that support illegal immigration: Democrats (need that minority support), corporate America (gotta keep those shareholders happy), President Bush (has to keep those Republican sponsors -big business-happy), the 12-20 million already here illegally (you know the ones that are killing an average of 12 US citizens per day)....the list goes on and on, the poor here don't understand what the middle class does....these illegals are going to lower your already abysmal pay rate.

WOW...strange comparison to say the least.

I still would like that definition of an illegal supporter. Because somewhere along the way that sure got twisted. But hey it's yahoo and really not filled with gray is it?

they don't follow the rules. Here's the latest! Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) has invoked Rule 14 on the new stand-alone DREAM Act amnesty! That means he is setting up Senate procedure to spring the amnesty at any time without hearings or committee action. For the Majority Leader to invoke Rule 14 means that he can bring a bill to a floor without it going through the debate and markup of a committee. They are trying to sneak it through without any debate. They're hoping we won't notice or we're too tired to keep fighting them. If you oppose amnesty now's the time to let your legislators know. I say do it no later then Tuesday (10/23) . You do not actually talk to the Senators but they do count the calls. As to getting Dream act passed here's a quote from IMMIGRATION DAILY "Here's why everyone who wants immigration benefits, of whatever kind, should care about DREAM. If DREAM succeeds on the Senate floor, there is a whole slew of benefit bills lined up right behind it - SKIL, AgJOBS, you name it. We believe that once the benefits dam breaks in Congress, a flood of benefits will follow. Our best read of the House at this time is that the House Democratic leadership will permit a vote on any immigration benefits to come from the Senate, and we believe that there are plenty of votes on the House floor for targeted benefits like DREAM, SKIL and AgJOBS, etc. That is why DREAM is worth pushing for, even apart from its intrinsic merit, since a veritable cornucopia of benefits may well result in the wake of its success". SENATORS REID, LUGAR, DURBIN, and HAGEL are the force behind this end run contact them and your own senators now or forever hold your peace!

I don't mean to defend any racists here but at least the Nazi's understood the importance of law. People who defend anti-law behavior are different. They must be coming in with a purpose of ruining everything law has built.

Hmmmm...

HUH?

If you have a quesiton, figure out what it is.

No, people who think our current immigration policy is stupid do NOT think that entire peoples should be murdered.

Whoever told you THAT was lying to you -- major big time.

I think that people who work here should be able to do so legally.

How that makes me an advocate of mass murder is beyond me.
