It depends on your level of selfishness. In this day and age, Pro-Choice means the Mom gets so selfish as to kill her potential child for her COMFORT! .... and this is AFTER doing activities that would invite a child in her belly.

Pro-Choice is one of the most offensive words in American culture to me. All Nazis I presume were "Pro-Choice" to get rid of the Jewish people from their society, as they were choosing to get rid of a minority, and as we all know democracy is all about "free choices".

Abortion is the most heinous crime that is allowed to be committed in the so called civilized society. On the opposite side of the spectrum is "Euthanasia", or murdering old people. We are between the two extremes of the pendulum, which has a way of swinging towards us.

Those who plan the destruction of others, usually fall in the pit as an old saying goes. So, BE WARE!!

Yes, definitely.

People saying that it's a clump of cells and not a person, have no basis for this claim. The supreme court could not rule on the fact that a human being was created at conception...they said they did not know for sure. So, abortion is a right that is given to the woman, it is her right to privacy that allows abortion. The supreme court stated that if they knew for sure, it was a human being at conception, abortion would be murder.

At the moment of conception the new person has it's own, unique DNA. This in scientific terms, makes it a new life and science actually refers to it as such.

A mother's womb should be the safest place on earth...instead it has become the most dangerous place.
Women have been duped into believing they are exercising their rights. What they are exercising is their right to have sex with men they do not love nor want children with. In the case that contraception fails, abortion will be there to "get them out" of this very inconvenient situation.

It is a sick and sad state of our society when we kill our unborn children as if they are worthless burdens we are better off without. Every child a wanted child...what a load of crap that is. After 30 years of legal abortion, we have more unwanted children, more abortions, more child abuse. Obviously the plan backfired. But we are in so deep now it's going to be twice the work getting out.

I was pro-choice for many years. I am now 100% pro-life. I believed that abortion gave women an equal footing with men. I was so wrong...we have given up all that made us female, gave us our unique identity and true equality. We have chosen instead a fake sense of equality that has cheapened us and caused us to sell out all that matters.

You are confusing the term pro choice with the real terms under the law. Pro choice doesn't mean that you are just making a choice, it means you are exercising your RIGHTS as the law states them. The rights of an individual begin at birth so if you really wanted to ask the question the correct way would be to ask " Do the rights of an unborn fetus supersede the rights of a living person?" As cruel as it may sound, an unborn fetus doesn't have rights under the current laws. Do you truly want a baby born to a mother who doesn't want it, can't care for it, could possibly abuse it, and at best may neglect it?

I didn't know that a group of cells early in the first trimester (when most abortions take place) was a person? Abortion restrictions are a good idea, outlawing abortion is not a moral approach.

Birth control fails, women are raped, are we going to set up a court system to determine whether a woman has a good enough reason to abort an early pregnancy? Convince a jury of peers? Or do you think no matter the case or danger women should see their pregnancies through..

What about all of the fully developed fetuses of other primate species we are killing by destroying the rainforests all around the world, they share 99% of our genetics, but they don't deserve consideration?

Pro choice is the best (whether we like it or not)
It's a female's right to do what she wants with a pregnancy.
Nobody else's rights matter on what she wants to do with her body.

If you can convince them of that basic right of the other "not-yet-born" person, I'll hand it to you.

It's just as hard as trying to convince someone that freedom of speech must stop when it causes damages or hurts others, like pornography, or yelling "FIRE!" in a theatre just to watch people trying to get out and end up trampling each other!

I think it's just a bit hypocritical to say you believe in abortion after you've already been born.

a woman should always have the right to choose, even when that choice is a bad one. but it is up to us to give her many other options to choose from because we must be concerned not only for the life of her unborn child but for her well-being as well...

when a woman is loved, her children will be loved as well...too many women are having children without being loved...

Should we let a murderer continue to murder someone because he isn't hurting us by killing someone else? Just let him alone. How can watching him kill someone, possibly have an effect on you...you are just sitting back and watching it take place.

Now take out the word someone, and put in the words.....a baby..

Yes, that is why they are pro-choice. A woman's rights are at stake.

Oh and if you are going to go into the baby crap please do some homework and find out when the brain forms in a fetus.
