I am 24 years old. The delivery guy for my store has been flirting with me for a while now ( about 8 or 9 months ). He has even asked me out which I had attributed to my having a bad day and he was just trying to make me feel better. I haven't said anything to him or even let him know that I am interested. The thing that is stopping me is that he's 50...old enough to be my father...his kids are older than I am. Is this too old? too much of an age difference?

its does not matter what the age difference is if you both truly care for each other --- all i can say is make sure he is not just trying to "recapture his youth" and that he does care for you as a person not as a trophy ---- best wishes

I know that everyone will probably tell you that it is too much of a difference and I even kind of agree. I'm only saying that to help you avoid the heartache that it might cause. I am 18 years older then my boyfriend, we have been together close to 3 years and our only real problem has been our age difference. No matter what we do, I will always be 18 years older then him. What was kind of exciting at first can turn out to be a source of real heartache.

If youre talking about a bf,gf relationship YES,the age difference does matter,A man 50 yrs old is not going to turn down a chance to feel young again.Don't date him. there are plenty of guys your own age to date. And believe me his grown kids won't like you and will make your life hell

i think it could be. but, it's up to you. but you've got to be careful. he may just be looking for a sex kitten. not to say that all men are like that. he's probably just fine. but if you genuinely like him, and he genuinely likes you, why not? age is just a number.
