ARMENIAN WOMEN PUT UP FOR AUCTION

Refugee Tells of the Fate of Those in Turkish Hands
Speaking yesterday, his remarks being based on the authenticated data in his possession, Professor Dutton said he does not believe anything had happened in many centuries so terrible as is the studied and systematized effort on the part of a political coterie in Turkey - the Young Turks, led by Enver Pasha - to exterminate a whole race of people. The whole plan involves the wiping out of the Armenians.
Only a day or two ago, added Professor Dutton, a young girl who left Turkey on Aug 18 called here to see him. She told of the fate of the 100 girls who were attending a mission school in Anatolia. These girls, who were of course Armenians, were divided into groups and those that were the best looking in the opinion of the Turkish officers were taken over by those officers. Those considered not quite so good looking were given over to the soldiers, while those still less attractive were put up for sale to the highest bidders.
Several Americans who have been in Turkey for many years have arrived here within the last few days. They all testify to the truthfulness of the reports that have come out of Turkey concerning the treatment of the Armenians, but in every instance they beg that their names be not used for fear that what they have said will find its way back to Turkey and friends or relatives they left behind will be punished by the Turks in retaliation.
Copies of two letters, in which the writers tell of the fate that is being meted out to the Armenians, were given to The Times yesterday by a man in close touch with Armenian conditions.
In one of these letters the writer among other things says:
In Urtab, Tukh, and about twenty other Armenian villages on the lake the entire population was found to have been massacred by the Turks - not a single living soul was found in these villages, which were now given over to howling dogs, while large numbers of corpses have been washed ashore from the lake and the rivers.
These corpses, which were ascertained to be all of males, were terribly mutilated, but nothing was discovered as to the whereabouts of women and children. By sunset of July 20 the Armenians captured the heights of Kerkur. When they reached the summit the town of Bitlis presented to their disappointed gaze a sheet of flames, and they knew that the worst had happened. Some female refugees, who managed to escape the Turkish cordon, have since related the story of fiendish massacres in the town and the wholesale deportation of women and children.
To a well known minister of the Armenian Church there came out of Turkey, by some mysterious underground route, a letter which is described as of "undoubted trustworthiness" Excerpts from their letter follow:
Armenia without the Armenians - such is the plan of the Ottoman Government, which has already begun to install Moslem families in the homes and property of the Armenians. Needless to say, the deported are not allowed by the Government to take any of their belongings with them, and as there is moreover, no means of transport owing to the exigencies of the military, they are forced to cover on foot the two or three months' journey to that corner of the desert region which is destined to be their sepulchre.

Firstly, the psychologic truth is that when people have to leave their homeland and live abroad in this or that way, they develop a strong sentiment to hang on.That is why, most of the of the Turks who went to Germany or other European countries to work turned out to have some reactionary and racist attitudes and even became fanatic Islamists.Such people tend to overreact to the ideas or arguments that might disillusion them and tend to face the matters with a closed mind. Secondly, what happened in 1915 between Turks and Armenians was caused by the same reason which is working hard in Iraq today, that is Imperialism. Why do you think all different ethnic and secterial groups are butchering each other there, like Armenians and Turks did in 1915 when the Ottoman Empire fought against the Allied powers in WW1.Who do you think will have the benefit of that bloody situation in Iraq?Kurds,Arabs,Turkmans,Sunnis or Shiats? Of course none. They will gain a big and never-ending hatred towards each other in the end as did Armenians and Turks although they had been living together peacefully for centuries by 1915.

Turkey will win in the USA, and you are dreaming. Notwithstanding Ms Pelosi and her purse full of Armenian money. I, for one American consider Turkey an ally and friend. What we have here are stories passed down by generations, and not much proof beyond war is hell. By the way, what has Armenia done for you lately?

It is true that the Turks tried to wipe them Armenians off.... But that was because they attacked our ancestors.... There was no genocide... There was War..... Genocide is something different...... For example American biological warfare towards American natives is a GENOCIDE... You got it.???? HA? Hitler practiced on Jews GENOCIDE... You got it? HA?

The Russians GENOCIDED Circassians and Adyghes... You Got it? HA?.... Armenians slaughtered 200 000 people including Turks and Kurds and Jews in Eastern Anatolia during Turkey's Independence War while the Turks were fighting against the imperial powers of Europe in 5 fronts... And the Armenians took the advantage of Turks' weak position and waged a war against them by opening a new front... and our ancestors, like they did to all kinds of their enemies, killed the Armenians as well.... You got it? HA?
I am thankful to my Ancestors for what they did to our enemies....

I m British and against the Armenian Genocide claim. the Turks at the time (100 years ago) where enemies of the British and my family members would have fought against them during that period. But that's no reason for me or anyone else for that matter to start pointing falsely accusing a nation and calling it Genocide. theres a lot of info out there on the subject and a lot of meaningless killing was done on by both sides at a time of war.
Who actually believes that the Armenians are Innocent ?
People who are interested should check it out for themself's instead of listening to the bleeding hearts of the Armenian diaspora .
Google search the list of Terrorist groups that originate from Armenia. they also support the PKK on top of that list.
They pretend to be this lovely friendly but victimised country.
please look further and find out the real truth.

You have to understand the Armenians situation.
Turks, stolen our land, money, properties, and our life's, now, we are paying to get it back like the goods from our lands, from the criminals that killes us, you still denying the Armenian genocide, please, don't be so proud of the Armenian stores if they are selling your Turkish products, like I said, we are buying back the produc that came out of our forefathers land, one more time we are a victim of honest thieves.
