and in a way that i can really understand and not like b/c he put us here or b/c the bible says so. but actually give me real things in life that relate to him that i would be able to see a difference in my life other then an hour outta my day on sunday??

No. I have no idea whether you should believe in God or not.
You want the real answer? I will give it to you. God only wants certain people. He knows who they are, and the rest of the people He does not want. If you find yourself wanting to know God, then He wants you. If you don't - He doesn't want you.
The only people who can want to know God are the people who He draws to Him.
So you are the only one who can answer this question:
Do you WANT to know God or not?

I used to have a big problem with alcohol. It was so bad it almost killed me. I was horrible to be around and made life very difficult for my family. I did a lot of immoral things. The worst thing was that I didn't think anything was wrong with me. Through reading the Bible God helped me realize that there was something wrong with me. I put my faith and trust in His Son Jesus Christ. I have not had a drink in several years. The only help I have had is God. Today I lead a happy life with my family. I still have problems but Jesus is always there to help me out. Today I spend a lot of my time doing public speaking telling other people about God. That is the difference God has made in my life. I am sure your situation is different than mine but He can make a difference for you too.

This sounds cliche, but the only one who can give you the reasons is the one that you are looking for. Its a first class paradox. That is why you read so many cynical posts in here. Very few of us are honest about our search for the truth and when God refuses to answer our demand of a sign, some refuse to walk any further.
i'm sorry if i went all guru on you, it is hard to answer a complex question with few words. Try reading the gospel of John in the new testament of the Bible. Ask God to reveal the reasons to you. Jesus said:
"For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it.

The proof is simple, If you don't believe in Jesus he will torture you in hell for all eternity. What more proof would you need.
But if you want more proof that Christianity is true. Just look at the fact that we Christians commit a lot more crime than other groups. This proves we are being tempted by Satan. This proves Christianity is true because Satan knows non-Christians will burn in hell anyways so he has no need to tempt them.Many of these people were not always Christians. Some of them were formerly atheists who had never been tempted by Satan at all. Then they convert to Christianity and presto Satan Tempts them and they switch to a life of crime. Many People will tell you how changing to Christianity has caused them to be tempted by Satan and turned them to crime.
Our prisons are full of famous Christians who have been tempted by Satan.

Because life is short and when you're lying on your death bed in a few years you'll be glad you have the assurance of going to heaven. Plus, when you're facing other trials in life (sickness in family, etc.) you have someone to turn to who will listen and help.

if I have to show you the material things in life in order for you to see the wonderous of God and his power then it would be useless to even tap on these keys....
God is beyond the material things you see, he's spiritual you have to believe that he created this earth and everything that's on it, from the earth we walk on to the air we breathe... from the time we wake up to the time we sleep, he is everywhere, he is the God in the bible, and so if you don't believe that, then I have just wasted the last 5 mins of my time...

Look around you. See the beauty, complexity, order and wisdom in creation. Even "simple" organisms are complex. Look at DNA. Study the laws of physics, etc. This all did not just "happen". Someone created it.
God did.
