" God isnt robocop " and He " lets us get raped to make us grow " ? These are answers that were on my previous question. Thats the sickest thing anyone can say about " God ". Then you are saying He is some passive guy in the sky that COULD stop a rape but WONT so we can grow ? You have GOT to be kidding me. Then why dont we emulate Him and do nothing when we see people hurt ? Why dont we invite the abuser over to abuse our other sisters so they can all get closer to God ? What kind of logic is this ????? You are making God a bi-polar hippie peace pipe passafist. SORRY....I cant accept that.

You are quite right! For someone to say such a thing is really silly and unreasonable. God will not allow anyone to get raped in order for them tp grow. That is just ridiculous.

These questions are always hard to answer, because they are feuled with emotion. Rape is stealing. Obviously, that is sin. God views sin as one color. Sin must be forgiven or risk eternal punishment. I gather you are not asking is rape a Biblical tool for spiritual growth, but rather what can be done to prevent it. I suggest reading ways that will help avoid being a victim. Be around friends. Avoid strange sections. Imagine walking taller in your mind, over and over. That will give the confidence to stare the villian in the eye and provide the means to keep your head clear in the event. You don't have to take judo, but learning defensive techniques are good.

I just want to make sure I have all the complaints about God categorized correctly...

When God kills people that "deserve it" he's a hate-feeding war starting fiend.

When God doesn't kill people that "deserve it" he's a doped up hippy? It just doesn't make sense. Do you want him to punish wrongdoers or not? The fact is that God is wholly good and his intent is to destroy all evil. But his plan involves letting time pass so that more can be saved. The Bible makes it clear that as we approach the end that evil will become greater but that also, God's power breaking into this world will happen more and more. Do you want to diss on God or see his power? It's up to you.

It may well be that this incident is one that God "must allow" to avoid the moral criticism of 'puppeteering', but only God would know such a thing--a spectator cannot presume to use that as a 'reason' to not intervene.
God may 'need' some experiences like these in the overall 'whole cloth' of history, but since they are observably in the minority, a spectator's reasoning would be a case of flawed induction.
Or, it may well be that this specific incident will somehow create exceptional character benefits in the long-run , but only God would know such a thing--a spectator cannot presume to use that as a 'reason' to not intervene.

Rape is a terrible crime, God does not want that for anybody, Jesus shouldn't have had to die on a cross for us either but our sins put him there. Unfortunately there are people today who commit terrible acts against humanity, there day will come, Revenge is mine saith the Lord I will repay, no sin gets by God. Our main goal today is to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, this is what gets us to heaven, nothing else. Accept him today, he will wash away your sins and cleanse you from all unrighteousness. To get saved just Pray this sinners Prayer, Dear Jesus, I know and confess that I am sinner in need of salvation. I believe you died on a cross at calvery and arose from the grave to wash away my sins, I ask you right now to come into my heart and save me, I pray this Prayer believing in the name of Jesus Amen. If you prayed this prayer with a sincere heart you are now a child of God, rejoice that your name is written in the Lambs book of Life. Jesus will now send his Holy Spirit to come and live in your heart and guide you into all truth. If you have any questions just send me an email, God Bless YOU!!

Well we do have a doctrine of hellfire... but apparently you guys do not like that doctrine, you think it is cruel, so we have to come up with another answer. What answer would you prefer? He hunts people down and brutally kills them or strikes them with lightning for their transgressions? Or would you rather God have mercy for those who would accept it, and condemnation for those who are unregretful for their transgressions.

I wish that the "Religion and Spirituality" section was deleted. That way we wouldn't be able to say "God is real-No he's not".

Who cares anymore.

Let people belive what they want, oh well.
