My guy friend called me the other night and asked me for a ride so i went to pick him up.Before he got in my car he said " I want you to know even though i don't show it often but ( pause) I think that your really awesome?" He seemed like it took him alot to say it. Is he trying to tell me he likes me more than a friend or was he just being random and friendly and was glad for a ride? How can you tell if someone wants to be more than friends anyway?

It kind of sounds like he likes you because he was so appreciative..much more than a friend normally would be. Watch out for things he does that might indicate that he likes you. It will be pretty obvious if you're specifically observing.

it looks like it. He said " I don't show it often". You probably like him too because well you took the time to do this. Go for it. What have you got to lose. Start talking to him more. He will notice you even more. He will then start calling you and eventually he will call you.

he was just really being friendly that day and was sort of emotional but nothing serious unless he is gay of course.
