the answer is very. i have an acquaintance that's a scientologist and it basically turned him into a weirdo.
all cults are dangerous. mainstream religions like christianity are much better. let's not put them in the same category.

They also pretend to eat flesh and drink blood. And they dip babies completely underwater as an early ritual to make them one of theirs. They believe that suddenly talking in some strange language that no one can understand is proof of non-human beings invading their body. It happens all the time in their church meetings. And they want everyone in their church to give them 10% of everything they have.
