I was raised Catholic...and I want to believe so bad. But I get more of the science part of the universe. I (almost) refuse to let myself belive in something I can't see or prove. Is it ok to question?

I was also raised Catholic. Questioning is one reason (of many) that I'm now a Lutheran (LC-MS).
If you want to believe you probably already do.

Sometimes when we grow up learning about Science through the eyes of unbelivers, like in our school books, we tend to have a hard time seeing God's design. At least that was the case for me. I was raised Catholic too (now I'm Christian). I'm not sure how old you are, but no matter your age, teen to adult, you can get books that tell you in Christian perspective. There are textbooks like A Beka and there are really great videos by Moody Science that you could probably get real cheap on ebay. Really, just look all around you! Do you see yourself as coming from a blob of goop coming out of water? Do you see all that in on this earth and think it just came from a big explosion and became the magnificant design that it is? Pray for more faith:-)

yes... or at least I hope so. Study of the universe and then the brain lead me to a greater appreciation for the Creator. It became apparent to me there really is no discussion of any kind without conciseness. That became my final study subject as a non believer. I could not come up with a reason, nor could I find a reason provided by some of the top minds for our level of Conciseness. It is not required for survival nor evolution. To me this was the last hurdle that I could not have crossed without questioning everything to my satisfaction. I could not have gotten that answer or conclusion from any church or graduate class research.

It is your choice whether or not you believe. Nobody can force you to do anything. If more people looked into it, they would see proof that there is a God. There are numerous books on it, online articles, dvd's, and documentaries. If this is what you choose, judgement should not be passed by anyone. It's hypocritical, because regardless we're all sinners no matter what we believe. A great website is: www.gotquestions.org if you want to look into it some more. Questions always arise in life, but the answers to those questions are available if someone is willing to look into it. It is your life, it is your choice, and whatever you choose, God bless you and I hope you sort things out.

No preaching.
Faith is not a science. It cannot be examined under a microscope nor grown in a petri dish.

It requires a first step by the person seeking answers.
Take that first step by asking the Maker of the Universe to show Himself to you.
Ask Jesus to reveal to you who He really is.
Take this step with complete sincerity just as you would something a scientist said. Then go to His textbook (the Bible) and check out the answers.

When your in church and you feel a tugging or small still voice in your heart telling you that you need to be saved there should be no more questions, When God is speaking to you, you know it, the more you ignore it just lets the devil win. And he would love to take you to hell with him. Some Christians have said the felt a pulling towards the alter, others said they could do nothing but cry until they got on their knees and confessed Jesus as Lord, God speaks to everybody different, but don't ignore it. You have no promise of tomorrow.

you can be a christian and still believe in science. But if it is limiting your status on what you believe and what not just because you can't get a solid answer from God, then you have to do some searching yourself and see where you stand with Catholicisms and Science

I would say it is human to question where one has originated from. Study science if you are interested. But, keep in mind that science cannot prove everything. It has proved that the bumblebee cannot fly. But nobody can convince the bumblebee of this.

It's good to be thinking about these things.
Is your question, "Does God exist?".
If you really want to know, seek.
God promises to reveal Himself to all who truly seek Him.
And by the way, if you ponder creation, I think that you will see that it had to have a Designer---that it just didn't randomly come together.
God tells us about Himself, ourselves and what we need to know, in His Word, the Holy Bible. It was written by 40 different men who were inspired by God, over a period of about 1500 years.----and it contains a central united message. Hundreds of its prophecies have been fulfilled. It is historically and archaeologically accurate. Many lives have been changed because of it.
I wish you well.

It is very wise to question things, its the refusing to seek for the truth that can be detrimental to you. The Bible says to seek and you will find. I had many questions and I spent alot of time seeking the answers from man and I sure did get alot of different answers. It wasn't until I started seeking God first that I found the truth. Many Blessings
