I would consider the situation first. Is the wedding more of a formal affair or casual? Is the couple on the younger side (early twenties) or older?

Honestly, the season doesn't lend itself to the color hot pink. Most of the time, when attending events in autumn, one should stick with more autumnal or reserved colors because it is usually looks better in relation to outdoor surroundings and is more weather appropriate (darker colors hold heat better, which is great when it is cold outside.)

If the couple in question are the sort that would expect their friends and loved ones to wear eye-catching numbers, then you would be fine wearing a bright pink dress. However, if the event is a bit more on the formal side or the couple is not really in the 'hip' catagory, then you should probably stick to more reserved clothing to be respectful to the situation.

Also, an eye-catching dress (such as a very vibrant/bright/showy color or especially revealing dress) might draw attention away from the bride and groom, which isn't very nice.

If you would like to wear something that will garner attention without taking it too far you might try wearing a darker pink (or any other color) outfit that emphasizes a part of your body you find attractive. I always suggest to remember the 2 of 3 rule. (There are three major body zones that women usually show off: legs, stomach, and chest. If one were to show off 2 of those three areas, they would have to be careful of showing too much or looking tacky)

You could try wearing an article of clothing that is bright or flashy, like a sweater or a blouse under a jacket or an awesome pair of shoes.

Good luck and enjoy the wedding!

No, I would not wear a hot pink dress to a wedding period.

Hot pink is too bold, you'll stand out.

Connecticut is pretty sophisticated and classy in their wedding attire. I say a black cocktail dress, some dressy (perhaps slightly sparkly) black heels, a small clutch and a shawl would work well.

I've been to Connecticut weddings. Most people wear black cocktail attire, especially in the evening.

Do you look good in it or do you resemble one of those pink marshmallow cupcakes? Is it a younger couple getting married? At an older couples wedding it might come off a bit tacky, because there will be a lot of older people attending and you would stand out too much.

practice impartial makeup. whilst you have been under pressure with this undesirable shade which you would be able to desire to positioned on, you are able to help your self look somewhat greater useful via using impartial makeup. that's to declare do not play into the warm crimson shade scheme yet play against it. keep your eye shadow, lip stick and nail polish all in muted tones. In doing this something of your physique will look classy and state-of-the-artwork. in case you performed into the warm crimson shade scheme, it could make you look like a "lady of the evening" or as in case you have been attending a Halloween occasion! b
