Al already made big money with his movie and book, but he stands to make even more with the investment company by trading carbon offsets. One estimate was that Al's company stood to make upwards of $1billion in profits. I do not know what percentage of the company Al owns or how much of that may fall to him personally, but it would be alot.

He will not debate the issue because it is based upon premise not fact and congress knows it. The idea that those who do not buy into the hype are deniers is typical of socialist cowards willing to give up open debate. Why is it congress will allow Al Gore to speak about Global warming to promote his end of the world doom and gloom, which by the way made him over 100 million. I guess he does not want the believers of this scam to see the golden goose is not really golden and when challenged backed down like a coward. Our country's foundation is built upon freedom of religion, freedom of speech and open debate. Seems that the far left who claim to be tolerant are not tolerant of true freedom. Why is that? maybe they are afraid of transparency because the people will see them for who they are and it is not what they claim to be.

He has made money and plans to make more with GIM. To do this he seems intent on creating a mandatory carbon credit scheme in the US.
He buys the alleged carbon credits he claims to offset his carbon hoofprint from his own Company,GIM. Really just invests in GIM,his own company.
The donation he made with the Nobel prize money went to his puppets, the Alliance for climate wackos (loosely translated). This organization pays for much of his travels,etc.
He did in fact appoint himself chair of that organization while he created it.
So he sure ain't loosing money or actually giving it away.

Not only that but Algore's family fortunes are made from his ownership in Occidental Petroleum. Algore is leading the way to limit oil exploration driving up the price of oil and making a fortune from big oil.

I did some searching and found that Mr. Gore has made millions. He has multiple mansions which use a ton a energy. His mansion in Tennessee for instance used 20 times the national average in 2006.

He's already made a fortune with this "global warming" nonsense.
Hard to believe you can make so much money fooling people, but I guess that's been going on for ages.
His father was a crooked politician who made a fortune with kickbacks, so I guess cheating the public is part of his genetic make up.

Gore doesn't care about money. He has plenty.
This is about fame and ego but I also think he is sincere in his effort. He believes man made global warming is real.
