Is it possbile for a 22year old to be in the israeli special forces


a 22year old i know says he has been in it for 2 years, Is he lying?

why would he tell you that....trust me when i say he's lying

It's possible, but he's more than likely lying.

We have SEALs and a few Rangers that are around 22, but not many if any Deltas are that young.

Even the most basic, unextraordinary groups of SF troops aren't supposed to be broadcasting their position openly, and in Delta, it can get you permanently discharged (supposedly, but nobody's ever done it as far as I know) though I think SEALs can tell family members, same with Rangers.

What he said would mean that he's been in it since he was 20, which is highly unlikely. However, since Israel is almost constantly at war, it would make sense that they'd be more willing to accept even the younger applicants, even if they don't show the maturity to hide their identity...

Not necessarily. Israeli teens are REQUIRED to serve at least 2 years in their military. Smart move by my book.
It's possible that he wanted to make it a career and went for it. Now, I'm not sure what their definition of 'special forces' is, could be easy for all I know. ;)

The age is not really a problem. It's possible.
But why would he talk about that? Specially
with a foreigner?

No its not impossible. We have special forces troops that age.
