I am 19 and still living at home with my parents. They are very strict and insist on punishing me by spanking me when I break one of their rules.

i dont think there is an age thats to old.as long as you live in their house,you follow their rules,and deal with their punishments

Of course you are paying for your room and board and as a good tenant you are being neat, tidy, and helpful in your room and elsewhere in the house, cleaning, vacuuming, setting and clearing the table, etc.
So, what rules could they impose on you as though you were a child?
Don't even renters, boarders, etc. have rules which they are expected to follow, or else "get out"?
And, if you are staying at your parents, rent free etc., how could they punish you if you don't obey reasonable rules they establish? Should they just "throw you out"? Or should they "ground" you or impose other restrictions or loss of privileges which you would accept?

IMO, MOST spankings should have ended by 13 years of age and by the time a child has turned 18 it would seem "too old". Certainly by then too old to be physically forced to accept a spanking. But if you are attending college and your folks are paying your fees, etc. and like one guy, 19, who was goofing off at college, went home for a few days. His dad read the riot act to him ... and to really get his attention, if he would accept it, a serious belt licking like his dad used to give him when he was goofing off in high school. And knowing there would be no more chances ... one more goof-off, bad grades, etc. and all monies would cease. Too old at 19? Not necessaarily.

I wonder if they still get spanked by their parents when they visit and do something wrong :)
You shouldn't have to tolerate physical abuse by your parents or anyone.
Have a discussion adult to adult. They may stop treating you like a child when they see that you are not going to accept being treated that way.
Not sure if you are in the position to move out but let your parents know that you do not expect to be treated that way ever again.

i stopped getting spanked when i was like 8. well, ur an adult, and can choose to do whatever u want. if u dont like ur parents rules, earn enough money to rent an apartment.

You are an adult and they cannot spank you. You are too old to be spanked anyway. What they are doing is called assault.

Your way too old, my parents stopped when i was seven. You need to put your foot down or get out of there.
