Dinosaurs existed before Christ. If you believe in the bible, than this is what happened:

When God made the universe, he made it in seven days, and during that time he also made dinosaurs. Before Adam and Eve sinned and ate the forbidden fruit, meat eating was not allowed. After they sinned and became mortal, meat eating was allowed by God, but only humans ate meat. God got tired of the way people forgot him and didn't praise him, so he caused a world-wide flood to happen, and saved only one family of people and one male and one female of every specie on the planet so that life could start over again. After the flood, certain animals started eating meat too, but the dinosaurs were wiped out of natural selection.

When people think of cavemen, they think of half ape, half human creatures that are semi intelligent. People, at the beginning of the earth, did live in caves. Those people were as human as you and me, just as intelligent-the only reason they lived in caves is because they couldn't think of anything better at the time. If you’d travel back in time about 500 years and tell people that man had created machines that can fly faster than sound, you'd be scoffed at and ridiculed. It simply takes time for people, through trial and error and some educated assumptions, to improve every aspect of life. Once people learned how to build mud houses and igloos there was no reason to live in caves any more, so they stopped. Cavemen were cavemen only because they lived in caves.

Saying everything confidently with mathematical or it being schematically correct of when things began to occur. Dinosaurs first appeared in the Triassic Period 231.4 million years ago. The BC and AD wasn t actually developed until 525 AD. Jesus Birth is dated to be at 1 BC and since he was 30 years of age it would have put him at 4 BC of His death. People didn t evolve until the Cenozoic Era. If that occurred 65 Million Years ago. Which I personally don t like to think that Science could be more correct than the Bible. For any person who is a Christian leaves them quite bewildered on whom and what to believe and question their own Christianity. Can t say I don t blame them. Now I notice a lot of these comments are dated 8 years ago. I just thought I d leave a recent post for someone interested in hearing it from a source who did a little research. But as a Christian to really dislike science that turned so many Christians into questionable believers in Christ.

Depends on your belief. Some Christians believe the earth is scarcely 6000 years old. Most intellectuals believe the earth is over 4 billion years old. I have to side with reasonable evidence that the earth is quite older than few thousand. In the story of Job, God describes large beasts in the water and on land. I perceive Job had little knowledge of their existence, which is why the Lord told it to him. Dinosaurs walked the earth until 58 million years ago during the Palocene epoch when a catastrophe happened. Humans were discovered to have existed since little more than 100000 years ago. As a Biblical reference, Cain is afraid of being sent into the wilderness as a wanderer for his crime. He is worried someone will find him and kill him. Clearly, there had to be others walking about before Eve. But in no way should any conclusion be made that dinosaurs and man walked together during the same period. There is well over 50 million years of separation.

Both cavemen and dinosaurs existed before Jesus/Christ. It's all about the timeline, and it's still in discovery, but Christ was here only a mere some 2000+ years ago, both cavemen and dinosaurs were here wayyy longer ago than that.

There are 3 earth ages,
Dinosaurs lived in the first earth age long before Christ came down to the earth to live, though Christ was always spiritually alive.
Man, ourselves live in the second.
The third is yet to come on the first day that Christ returns.

Dinosaurs existed in the 1st earth age, millions of years age. The behemeh is spoken of, I think in Job in the bible as being a huge creature with a tail like a cedar tree.There were no cave men on the earth, but there were spiritual angels, or men with another body form in living in heaven.

1/3rd of these spiritual angels or men rebelled against God along with Satan who wanted to be God.
So God saw that the 1st earth age (with the dinosaurs) was destroyed then recreated


Gen 1:1 tells us the God created the heaven and the earth (1st earth age)

Then the space in the bible (Satan's rebellion
with 1/3rd spiritual beings)

Gen 1:2 tell us the the earth became void and without form (it was destroyed by God, it was not created this way)
Notice the word for "was" is really the word "became" in the orignal language, the earth became this way because God shook the earth with a comet perhaps also as God always uses nature, since He created nature.

Gen 1:3 - on
God continued to recreate the earth again with light being separted from darkness which could represent the rebelling spiritual angels and Satan against the angels that did not rebell against God.
The horizon, grass, trees, animals etc.etc.were created .
Then the 6th day creation or the races were created, then God rested, then he created the individual man Adam and his mate Eve after the 7th day. In II Peter 3 it states that one day with the Lord is 1000 years. So one of God's days = 1000 of our years. So if God created the races on the 6th day, not until the 8th day was Adam and Eve created, 2000 years later, so there would be lots of people on the earth for Cain to mate with.Christ came through the blood line of Adam and Eve down through the generations.
This is also the earth age that we live in now.

The 3rd earth age is yet to come when Christ returns to the earth again and touches down at Jerusalem and we who are alive will be transformed into our spiritual bodies. The bible states that every knee shall bow, hence all evil will be destroyed at the return of Christ.

14 on down, speaking of the King of Tyre which is another name for Satan.

for sure they existed before Christ, they are talked about in Job. there is some speculation that in Utah they have found evidence that paridactyls (spelled it wrong I'm sure) the big birds, lived as little as 350 years ago. probably some still existed when Christ walked the earth, though most drowned in the flood.
