Quicken 2006 printing problems?

I have Quicken 2006 on my laptop (which runs Windows XP) and I am suddenly not able to print checks or reports. I used to be able to just fine. It also won't keep the font I want to put on my reports and checks. I keep getting a message that reads "Unable to verify the active printer at the system level. Please verify printer". This is weird since it lists my printer and my printer prints with all my other programs.

I would contact Intuit and see if they have an answer to this. Sounds crazy. sorry I can't help.
