I don't want to take them to the pound as they could be put down. Also the animal shelter that is meant to be "no kill" will put them down if they seem dangerous or do not get on with people after a short period of time. I have a cat that I adopted from the pound and another cat that was a stray and decided to stay. But this week there is another stray that has decided to stay. When does it stop? At first they are scared of me but then when they see that I won't harm them and that I give out food they like me. And I know you shouldn't feed them but they still eat the food from my other cats. So what is the best thing to do for them? My cat prefers to be the only cat here. She loves people but doesn't like other cats and will hiss at them if they go near her. The first stray loves to chase her and the second now loves to steal her food. She is smaller than the other cats. What would you do in this situation? (Keeping her inside is not an option).

It is not about desexing them. My cat is desexed and so is the other female stray. Don't know about this one but he is a boy and he may be desexed already anyway. i have never found kittens so it is not about breeding.

can you feed her in the garage?? let her, and only her into the garage for a little while every day. This will give her a chance to get away from them and eat her own food.

i have cats (3) & they are all desexed & come & go as they please day & night. because our house & the cat food are so freely attained I too have other cats turning up & eating my cats' food. it doesn't bother me too much nor my cats except when the other cats spray (marking 'their' territory), which stinks & is often sprayed over the food or water containers as well as walls etc; & when they want to fight with my guys, especially all hours of the night. these cats aren't strays, they belong to people, i know this as a fact, so i don't want to hurt them but i do want to deter them.
so when i am home & an incident happens i use water to tip over them, i often have a pot or bucket on hand ready to go, sometimes this has deterred certain cats permanently & other times it just means some peace for a period of time. there is one that particularly peeves me, as it is a vicious savage piece of work & if i ever get my hands on it i will be taking it to the pound, my cats are fully terrorised by this big moggy & mine are not the only ones. i don't think that my cats should be terrified in their own home & yard.

Oh boy, sounds like you have become a cat magnet. It's like - if you build it they will come.
I currently have 13 and can't really handle much more than that. I made friends with a local rescue center - they don't put any cat to sleep unless it is for medical reasons and they have a big local network of helpers, fosterers etc. I'd suggest that you do some research and try to find something similar in your area if you cannot persuade them to live peacefully together.

We feed the strays here, and I do TNR, trap neuter/spay and release. The outdoor cats stay outdoors and they are fed and have water, but they won't have kittens. They're in good shape and live where they're comfortable. Two that wanted to come indoors, we turned into indoor cats. It's ok to keep feeding them, and letting them live their own lives, but if you can, it is a good idea to get them spayed or neutered.

I unquestionably have had 3 cats, all of that are stray. I could say its because of the fact my dad had like a crapload of canine and cats while he develop right into a new child, so its like he has a manner with them. So besides a on a similar time as in the past this cat got here to us and we saved it and it develop into our puppy, yet cases bypass on and so does existence.. So in any case, then there develop into this one cat that stood on the front door all day long and my mom might attempt to scare it away besides the shown fact that it merely sat there like "What *****?" So we took care of it and my dad gave it to his co worker and there the cat lives. besides this is previous the factor there is greater cats besides the shown fact that it will take too long with a view to respond to your question, particular, it could value a particularly great quantity of money in case you're taking it to the vet, and that that they had even eliminate it if it has a ailment. i assume it could have a ailment yet while it did then I doubt you would be harshly plagued via it. Its as a rule nutrition. particular breeds choose brushing (somewhat undemanding, brushes are much less high priced) and you're able to purchase a nutrition and water bowl for the cat. you're able to evaluate getting a mattress or toys yet its no longer a neccesity. additionally, catnip might make your cat happy (intense). additionally you do no longer might desire to get it chipped, get a collar that suits suitable (and does not make noise, the cat could ultimately could hunt). you're able to be waiting to maintain the cat in case you pick. You wont experience sorry approximately keeeping it, useful canine are greater useful as they do greater yet cats are somewhat a good important different and that they convey excitement to the kin so i propose holding it

spay and neuter is the answer or they will keep coming.
If you have a feral clinic in your area, they will do surgery for free.
When does it stop you ask? when they all get spayed and neutered.
here is a resource where you might find links to a feral clinic in your area- this is a National mentor website for feral cats and a clinic in my area
