She's not interested in cereals, toddler cookies or fruits. Just banana every now and then.
Her favorite food is broccoli, green beans etc.

You may be one of the luckiest moms on the planet. A kid that only wants to eat vegetables? I wish my daughter had a little bit of that. From experience, I can say that kids generally do grow out of it. Keep trying to slip a little variety into the food, and eventually she'll find something else she likes as well. Good luck!

Yes, her diet will eventually change.

That's awesome though! Veggies are more important than the rest of the stuff. I'm sure the prep work is a pain for you, but I'm sure she's worth it. Maybe someday soon she can explain to you what it is about veggies that she likes so much Then you can use that knowledge to show her other foods she might like.

I remember telling my niece once when she was maybe 3 yrs old that it's ok if she didn't like something, but she should try it again next time. At the time she had already recognized that she was growing and her body was changing and I reminded her that her taste buds change too. I don't know how well she remembered that conversation, but I know her mother did a great job with her too.. She's 8 now and loves literally EVERYTHING -- stuff I wouldn't eat until I was 20 (sushi, thai, japanese, mexican, etc)! I'm so jealous.. so much food, so little time (and a small stomach).

It will change several times in her life. Right now her taste buds have taken a step back so she will not be apt to eat everything in her path. Think of it as more of a self preservation thing, and go with it that way. No harm was ever done to a child for eating an array of vegetables. Supplement with WHOLE milk and/or breast milk/formula, Try some soy and different proteins and make sure she is getting PLENTY of fats for her brain functions and normal growth and wait for her to be ready to add foods when her taste buds begin to mature again. Keep offering so she doesn't become afraid of the foods, but do NOT force her to eat what she finds unpalatable. She'll catch up and be okay for it if you don't make the dinner table a battleground forcing her to eat.

ENJOY IT! Veggies are the best thing for ANYONE! My son is 10 years old and while other kids love their McDonalds cheese burgers and soda my son will eat a salad over a hamburger ANY day. Most cereals and cookies are not good, so don't take away the veggies.

that's terrific !

i wouldn't push the toddler cookies . introduce other fruits ... if she can stay off the sugar till she's 3 , the research i was looking at said she'll have a great chance of not being hooked on it / becoming obese. i wish i had the article to site.. but it said we should really make an effort to make kids eat healthy from early age. article said that kids know when to sleep / when to eat , their body is programmed / won't starve or get itself too tired. we shouldn't mettle / screw the programing up . they will eat enough . we shouldn't define portions. basically let them eat when hungry / stop when they are full. their body knows the rights signals and reads them. we lose this when we get older. it was quite interesting theory. who knows the facts. thought i would share . you could always ask peditrician / nutritionist. too.

good luck !

I have an 18 month old little boy and he seems to go back and forth. He gets stuck on one thing for a while, he eventually moves onto something else though. For a while he only wanted green beens and corn on the cob. Now all he wants is Pedia Sure's Nutra Pal. The doctor told me to have him drink that because he wasn't gaining weight. I'm sure she will change her tastes soon.

Thats really good! And it might change as time goes by she may start wanting to explore other foods. Thats not nessarly a bad thing just make sure you keep in control what she is eating and if she does start goingh for the other stuff make sure you control that eats enough of everything.

you are very lucky, many children's don't like any vegetable, my 3 1/2 year old loves veggies and fruits, apples, strawberries, grapes, and also tomatoes, green beans broccoli, carrots etc... but won't eat too much meat like steak, chicken etc... so don't worry and keep trying giving your child averything to taste and keep the habbit of fresh veggies and fruits, who knows she might change her mind trying cereals and other foods it usually happens.

There's nothing wrong with that. Keep encouraging her with fruit, cereals and meat etc., but she's probably eating what her body's needing atm.
Now if it was chocolate....that would be a different story!:p so I think you should be happy she likes those foods. Nothing to worry about.

i be attentive to you suggested you have tried all forms of juices besides the incontrovertible fact that that's advisable to grant this juice a attempt. that's Juicy Juice healthful Harvest. that's end result and vegetables mixed. supply her 4-6 oz. not watered down daily. My son has a very undesirable time going #2. I advise via undesirable time he leans against the wall and screams whilst he poops and that's dry and confusing. He cries and screams, shakes and sweats. that's terrifying. i began out giving him this juice and it has helped fantastically. that's well worth a attempt. My son is sixteen months previous.
