Most times, yeah...whenever we can. But there are notable exceptions to this general rule such as whenever your connection with a woman is so "significant" to you that you're more interested in orchestrating a future with her than just "getting with her" (though you definitely want that too), or when the sexual energy between you both is so intense that waiting for a little while actually adds to the experience (as anticipation becomes a part of the seduction). Both times are uniquely special, but they in no way mean the same things.
And about alcohol-induced sex: over time alcohol and sex won't mix very well as it wreaks havoc with a guy's responsiveness, so if he can wean himself away from that tendency it'll be in his best interest. The sooner he does it, the easier it'll be to drop that habit.
