Honestly, it is better to be honest!!! If you are normally an A & B student, you should be upfront with your parents and say that you will work as hard as you can to bring your grade up.
Trust me, it's not worth losing your parents trust over that...because the consequences of lying are always worse than the reason to lie.

nicely ... enable's placed it this manner -- those are thrilling techniques -- yet ... for somebody that has continuously been in Honors classes (sure, i'm/became into the A student), I do use my intelligence to creatively resolve the themes, do the study, think of up recommendations, and (at situations) do multi-activity (after all, because of the fact that i became right into an prolonged term single make certain -- Multi-Tasking IS the call for ANY single make certain -- and that i'm so no longer a neat freak -- in spite of the indisputable fact that I do set up extremely some my domicile) ... i could say that i became into no longer plenty there for alluring my dad and mom (and that i could flow so a practise on a thank you to declare that I had an inner (which skill i wanted to be this manner) impetus to continuously do my maximum suitable no count what -- and to maintain working difficult all my life. (For that count -- i've got by no skill been a 'partier' in any respect -- and that i stink at merchandising/promoting).

Don't try to change anything. If you change your grade and your parents find out, you will lose trust and they will hold it against you. All you do is to tell your parents the truth and tell them why you got a C. Was it because you didn't study too much or you didn't understand the work or what's the reason? Tell your parents the truth and be honest with them. If you show them that you are an honest person, they will understand and hold it against you even when they are not satisfied with your grade. Also, if your parents grounds you, ask them to give you a chance and promise them that you will try harder.

You're better off telling your parents about your C. It would be worse if they found out by someone else, like your teacher. Change the C by studying harder next time. If you speak to your parents, they should understand. Make sure to show them and yourself that you will put more effort into your work and if you have been stressed and/or tired, you will not be able to do your best. Don't be afraid to talk to your parents. Remember that they were your age once. Good luck, Keep it real, and Take good care.

You know this never works, it never has since the beginning of the educational system in the USA. Give it up and actually do the work. You aren't an A and B student, apparently you are also a C student. The buck stops with you.

Don't change the grade ... own up to it ... if you try and change it and get caught the consequences of your actions will be far harsher than what you'll get for just getting a C ...prove to your parents it was a one time deal and start studying harder

What everyones else has said is completely right. you could offer to do something to earn extra allowence for a tutor... it'll make them see you still care. You may wish you could do it, but your concience will tell you no. Besides, when they see your report card at hte end of the year, they'll wonder what that c is...
