EASY CROCK POT LASAGNA
1 pound chuck or 1/2 pound chuck
1/2 pound ground turkey
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1 28 oz jar spaghetti sauce (your favorite)
1/3 cup water
8 lasagna noodles
1 4 1/2 oz can mushrooms
1 15 oz carton ricotta cheese (optional)
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
Brown meat and seasoning, drain.
Mix spaghetti sauce and water. Place 4 uncooked noodles in lightly greased crockpot.
Layer with beef mixture, sauce and mushrooms.
Spread evenly with ricotta cheese and sprinkle with 1 cup mozzarella.
Layer with remaining noodles, meat, sauce mixture, mushrooms and mozzarella cheese.
Cover, cook on high 1 hour.
Reduce heat and cook on low 5 hrs.
Yield: 4 servings
I swear this works and in a large crock pot, the cooking time is even slower.

Sprinkle some seasoned salt on a bunch of wings and dunk them in flour, fry them and put them in the crock pot(chinese wings)
have buffalo wing sauce on the side or for adults dump the sauce in or better yet make some buffalo wings for the adults and some Chinese wings for the kids and if the kids don't eat them wings dump remainder into adult pot and keep on partying.

I just read this recipe for black spiders in blood...it's spaghetti, boiled with black food coloring, mushroom buttons soaked in black food coloring, all added to tomato/basil "blood" sauce....the mushrooms can be slit at the front and then you'd insert diced red peppers as eyes. Arrange on top of noodles to imitate spiders in blood! Looked cool and sounds delish.

Beans and little wieners, and you can have a gas. You can probably even use food dye and make the wieners red and tell people they are little fingers for halloween.
