stick to a 1200 calorie diet, strictly. You will lose weight, tho it will be slow. As for the flab, the only way to tone up is exercise.

Well, I say you should start simple. WALK. I don't know what else to tell you.
Here is a link to a website with all sorts of links regarding "Walking Off Weight"
http://walking.about.com/od/weightloss/W...
And here are two sub-links from that website, that point out that to burn weight by walking, you should be walking somewhere between 30-60 minutes a day.

good luck and just remember the maxim: an hour a day, most of the days a week. ( walk an hour a day, for more days than you rest).
About Getting motivated - that's another situation. Think about what you dislike about your condition. If you don't like looking the way you do, then your motivation is looking good. I know this can be hard (I'm very skinny but sometimes I find it hard to work out, even though looking buff motivates me). you just have to push through the temptation to not do it. Music helps. I don't know if you've heard of Rascall Flatts, but I love them. Music keeps your mind off of whatever your doing, and walking is probably one of the easiest things to keep your mind off of, especially if you're walking in a beautiful area.
So, what do you think? is walking 'too much exercise? I'll tell you something - if you aren't willing to do something, you won't get any thinner. you have to excersise at least a little, and walking is a perfect way to do it.
good luck!

What I have found that helped me is to walk alot, not just walken along down the street, but a brisk walk! If you have a dog that is a perfect way if not then speed walk. Also the best way to get rid of flab is to do sit ups, that is what I have been doing and it works. If you just do 10 in the morning and 10 at night it goes away pretty quick. Also not alot of bread, but do drink alot of water. It flushes out the bad stuff! Good Luck!

you need to subtract 500 calories from what you are eating right now...
stay away from fatty foods which will make you gain fat.
you will not lose fat from ur body - which is the flab u are talkin bout - without exercise, u will probably gain weight just by dieting and not exercising because when you do this ur body goes into survival mode, where it notices that it is getting less food and starts storing everything it takes in.
so that is why you need to exercise! exercise! exercise! and that is to do cardio, not to lift weights, lifting weights will make you gain muscle which will make you look bigger and not lose the fat on your body, the only way to lose fat is to do cardio workouts such as running.
good luck

Depends on what your age is, however, cut out the WHITE's from your diet for about 10 days...that would be - sugar, white flour and rice. If you are under 30 this should help tremendously. If you are over 35, then you will have to work out (unfortunately) plus cut the white stuff out.

It's not easy. Building muscles one, burns more calories and two, muscles themselves burn lots of calories just by being there.
Anyway, eat low fat, high protein food and be careful about how much sugar and carbs you're eatting. Protein is harder to digest so takes longer and will make you feel fuller longer. Also, just the act of digesting it will make you burn more calories.
Also, try eatting smaller, more frequent meals. That will help train your body to keep its metabolism up.

You really need to exercise, it does not take a whole lot of time, especially if you do it every other day. Walk, lift weights.

It's all a matter of what you eat. Keep it fresh, keep it whole, and drink plenty of water. Oh, and completely avoid processed foods.
