To the one that said what school did I go to, How can that have anything to do with it especially if you went to a public school that doesn`t allow this kind of talk in school? The only reference I heard from teachers about religion is when we got to the one nation under God part in the Pledge of Allegiance.

The Jewish ppl that don't celebrate Christmas, instead recognize Hannukah. Christmas recognizes the divine birth of Christ, which the Jewish do not recognize. They acknowledge Him as a teacher, but not as the Son of God. Those that practice Judiasm don't not follow the Christian principles.

Most Jews reject Jesus as the Son of God.

Jesus was born in early Fall - late Sep or early Oct - NOT Dec. 25

Neither Jesus nor the disciples ever celebrated anyone's birthdays. They are pagan observances. Jesus asked to be remembered in ONLY one way - the Comunnion (Lord's Supper)

Why should Jewish people celebrate the birth of a man who they believe was not the son of G-d, or a profit, or even a particularly good person?

Karl Marx was a Jew as well. So was Sandy Koufax. Should Jews celebrate their birthdays?

No, Jesus was not the first Jew.

In Judaism, Jesus is not the Messiah, nor the son of G-d, nor a prophet nor a rabbi. In short, he is irrelevant. Thus, Jews do not celebrate his birth.

For the same reason Christians don't celebrate Mohammad's birthday. Jesus is irrelevant to Judaism just as Mohammad is irrelevant to Christianity.

Because Christians stole the date from previous religions- Jesus was not born on December 24th. If anything, he was born in the spring, and that is assuming he did exist.

... Maybe that isn't the reason -Jews- don't celebrate it, but seriously, sounds like a good enough reason to me.

Why would Jews want to celebrate his birthday??????
We do not believe J*sus was the messiah, or that he was divine.
And besides, the list of Jewish holidays does not include any birthdays, not even that of Moses....
(And YES; we do know of his EXACT birthday)...

Christmas has nothing to do with Christ's birthday. Jewish people do not celebrate their own birthdays let alone Christ's.
