I posted a reply to a stupid question. i may have been a bit rude or abrupt, but i felt the question of "Why cant everybody bleave in god not Allia?" was just really dumb.
So i pointed out that there are many other gods and Goddess' that are worshiped and that as discussed in many other posts, everyone has a reason for following there faith. I felt that this guy was abuseing our humility and generousity, insulting our intelligence. so i told him to "come off it".
He sent me an Email telling me to "Fcuking die" and that he "hopes i burn in hell". I reported him.
Has anyone else recieved this kind of blantant abuse?

Some people can not see beyond their personal beliefs, and get angry when someone challenges them. You must be able yourself, not to let their over reaction to you, get to you. Choose the higher moral ground, and if they go to far, do your civic duty and report them. I am really careful how I word things, but with my strong views I am sure abusive people will come back at me..

Temprers run high on Politics and R&S. It's understandable but the regulars at least could strive to set an example.

I have had vicious e-mail, you could even feel the hatred and the spirit of it
I just ignore it and they go away
I have not been cursed as you were
they are so cruel here
they can say whatever,, you can't

Yeah, had a Christian dude keep calling me "lazy" and "hypocrite" I found it hysterical...but yeah, I've had such e-mails before.
