Because the Theists keep trying to get everyone to live by their religion whether those people want to or not. Now, granted, its not all Theists that are doing that, just the Christians and Muslims, but even so.

There are people on both sides who will never get tired of it because they suffer from OCD and it's more fun to argue on Y!A than trying to comb your carpet so that all the fibers point in the same direction.

on a similar time as you're making some good valid factors, i think of you ignored some. Theists kill interior the call of their God and faith while atheists under no circumstances kill for the sake of their loss of concept. on a similar time as agree that there are a number of good theists, it somewhat is in many cases because of the fact they forget approximately regarding the undesirable areas of their faith or interpret it this form of trend as to no longer think of or do undesirable. the concern are the persons who take their faith actually and develop into illiberal or risky. you're able to view faith as a detrimental device that relies upon on the person to no remember if good is done, or harm and destruction is done. to this point as evaluations changing, on account that religions are faith based it would subsequent to impossible to alter the recommendations of an counseled atheist who desires valid evidence and not emotional pleading to be confident. on a similar time as atheists via themselves can no longer replace the opinion of theists quickly, there is an increasing quantity of ex-theists by using them seeing blunders of their religious teachings and upon intense examine start to work out what the atheists have been declaring. on a similar time as i admire the useful effect that religious ideals can convey, I desire that religions could be as much as date to eliminate the poison inserted via a primitive custom who did no longer understand to any extent further useful. Christianity working example might reason stress, melancholy and guilt by using detrimental nature of the hot testomony. If Jesus is the sole thank you to heaven and a chum does not believe or chooses a distinctive faith, that motives stress and melancholy for that christian who thinks their buddy is doomed to hell. you besides might have christians who're annoying to no remember if or no longer they're extremely beautiful God for concern that they might no longer get into heaven even in spite of the incontrovertible fact that society might view those human beings as good. You even have christians preaching that being good does not count form to their God, loss of concept is sufficient to land you in hell. i could bypass on, yet you will see that that christianity could be an risky faith.

Many theists believe that they are to tell others/ direct others to convert to their own beliefs/practices. thus, people who do not believe as theists do must defend themselves. They can't just keep saying, "no, thank you. I do not want to be a Christian." Or, "sorry, I do not believe as you do, but thanks for asking me to join."
Believers and non believers will never fundamentally agree, nor will believers simply 'agree to disagree,' thus the attacking.

Because most people on both sides want to condemn everyone else for their beliefs, and you know, the "Hypocritical Jerk" club just isn't big enough for the both of 'em.
