no, actually wearing them causes the tendons to thicken and you end up with ankles bigger than your knees.

Wearing high heels constantly will actually shorten the calf muscle, causing serious back and leg problems later on.

I know this because my mother wore 6" heels all through the 60's and 70's to work as a personal secretary. Back then you had to "dress" for work. When the doctor told her the cause of her back and leg problems she didn't believe him until he presented her with medical proof. Lesson learned! Nana

yea skinny calves like the last person said. i wear 6 inch heels all the time and i now have non-existant calves.

Yes, but the calf muscle may become slightly larger.

They give you skinny calves if that's what you mean by "tone."
