You should, but you have to really mean it. The difference is your eternity, where do you wish to spend it?

Being a Christian is not something you can ask others if it is right for you to do or not. You can talk to other Christians, for sure, and we would love to answer any questions you have! If you want to become a Christian, then, I would suggest first reading about Jesus, afterall, it's all about Him! Get a Bible, and read the Gospels. Start with John (just a suggestion). That way you will know who Jesus is and what He did. It's not like joining a club, it's about faith, and about trust in God, and about believing that Jesus is the One true God, and that He died for our sins. You first must admit you are a sinner. Everyone is born in sin. No one is born without sin, only Jesus was.
The big deal is your salvation. Salvation is being saved from your sins, and being washed clean in the blood of Jesus Christ. When that happens, you will become one of His, and you will go to Heaven and have eternal life. I happen to think that is a very big deal. If you reject Him, then, there is only one other place to go. 2 roads. That's it. Time is running out. He's coming back, and when He gets here, it will be too late to repent then. If you died tonight, and you weren't saved, you would not go to heaven. Did you know that? I just thought I better tell you. It's like Jesus said "The time for redemption is NOW." He said this because there may not be a tomorrow for you. "You never know when your soul may be required of you."
You can be saved right now, where you are if you want to. All you have to do is say a prayer like this:
Dear God, I know that I am a sinner. I am sorry for every sin I have committed in my life. I believe that Jesus is the only Son of God, who died on the cross so that I may be forgiven of my sins. I repent of my sins, and ask Jesus into my heart as my Lord and Savior. Thank you Jesus, for what You did for me. Now, I want to live my life for
You. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.
Repentance means to turn from and change. It doesn't just mean to confess. That is just admitting something. Repentance is different.
I'll pray that you accept Jesus into your heart. He is knocking at your heart's door right now. All you have to do is open it and let Him in. That's all. God Bless!

follow what YOU believe! never let others decide your spirtual path but definately say away from scientology. here's a hint: most of the founding fathers believed in a divine being but that we still had the power to run our own lives and could accept responsibility for them. very few were christians and most would tell they believed in " being just and good"

Christian simply means follower of Christ and it's not something you "toy around with" either you believe Jesus is your personal Lord and Savior or you don't.

Don't do something just because people tell you to. You're "toying" with the idea. That just sounds funny :)

Don't listen to what my opinion is or what anyone else's is. Listen to yourself, whatever you believe is what you are. Do NOT conform to others beliefs. If you feel that you believe in the Christian God, then so be it, if you do not, you should not force yourself into being one.

There are so many different flavors its hard to choose.
I suggest you be a different flavor of Christian every week until you've tried them all.
Then you can choose the best deal.
Think of it like shopping for a new car.
You want the lowest price, most luxury options included, best performance and of course the one who has the greatest guarantee.

Read the bible and go to church. If you feel comfortable with it, you're a good candidate to be a Christian. If, like me, you go into a church and your skin feels all itchy and hot...it's probably not a good idea. lol

Do not become a christian, become a disciple of Jesus the Christ, follow only His teachings, and study only His Words.
Trust in the words of no other, including Moses, the Prophets, Peter nor Paul.
Put you trust in only the testimony of Jesus Christ and that of His witness John.

No one can tell *you* what *you* believe.
You should not come to the conclusion that God does or doesn't exist based on what it has to offer, your belief has to be genuine.
