This is what www.ancestry.com had to say about the name.
Enright
Irish: Anglicized form of the Gaelic byname Mac Ionnrachtaigh ‘son of Ionnrachtach’, a name meaning ‘attacker’. Compare Hanratty.
Hope this helps.

From "The Origins of our Surnames" - Shelley Klein
"Enright" from MacEnright, son of Ionnrachtaigh, its meaning is uncertain - scholars have suggested that the name is from "inreachtach" meaning 'lawful', but others say it is from 'indreacht, meaning 'attack' (and if the 'in' of inreachtach were to be seen as a negative rather than an intensive prefix, the word would mean "unlawful"!
I bet you wish you'd never asked
