My guy friend the other night asked me to pick him up. When i got there he stood outside my car for a few minutes and he said " I want you to know even though i don't show it often but ( pause) I think that your really awesome?" He seemed like it took him alot to say it. Is he trying to tell me he likes me more than a friend or was he just being random and friendly and just was really appreciative of a ride even thought i give him rides all the time.

sounds to me like hes trying to say he likes you but hes afraid that if he says anything then he might lose you as a friend. i've been there, done that, and i understand why hes scared.
