I work at LAX. NO it is not $100 as dingy Paris said. Would be around $50 to $60, but you can take a shuttle or the Metro Rail. Metro would be less than $2.00. You can take the Green line to the Blue line to the Red line to the Gold line which ends in Pasadena and then take a cab to your destination if the Metro Rail is not close enough. Or you could take a shuttle like Super Shuttle or Primetime. They will take you directly to your door. Cost would be around $30 or so. When you arrive at LAX go outside, under the Orange sign are the shuttles and you can ask the dispatchers how much. And close to them are the taxi's. Ask them the cost. For the Metro Rail go to the Blue sign and take the "G" shuttle (its free) to catch the train. kingsleydr60@yahoo.com

WOW! Came here to answer a question, and discovered the beginnings of a "cat" fight.
To answer the question, go to "www.ayellowcab,com" and the Yellow Cab Company's web site has a fare estimator. Simply enter the distance you will be traveling, and get an estimate of the fare.

At least $60.00, probably more. Last time I took a cab from LAX to my home, which is a little closer than Pasadena it was around $60.oo and that was several years ago. Consider one of those shared vans if you want to save a little money.

nicely that's approximately $sixty 5 plus tip from LAX to downtown l. a., so my wager would be regarding the comparable (ball park estimate) Malibu is long and skinny alongside the coast so it relies upon what area....
