age is very important for this issue. As you get older the decisions you make are more thought out than when you are younger. I almost had sex with my boyfriend when I was 16 because I felt he was my world. I decided not to and soon after we broke up. I met another guy and we had sex when we were both 18 and felt better about what might be the consequences. We have been married for seven years and love the fact that we both only have one sex partner and that is with each other. After high school the pressure about sex is off and then you know when you are ready because once you are working and in college your body will feel like you really want it and you make the decision if you don't want to wait until marriage. I say wait until marriage but then again what if you don't want to get married just want sex. It's up to you but make sure it's after high school (not prom) a year after graduating will be a good waiting period.

When you feel you are ready to go through it. Trust me, you'll feel the "feeling". Also, you have to be ready just incase of you getting pregnant. You must take the chances of it while having sex.

I think age matters in some cases. I don't dis young people who have babies or have sex. As long as their taking care of the child(ren) and not out partying every single night. As long as that teen parent(s) are being very resposible & doing all they possibly can to raise their child(ren) the right way. S**t happens but, we need to be more careful so that s**t (Getting pregnant unplanned) doesn't happen. I lost my virginity at 12. I believe I was ready. Many people may disagree but, I don't regret it. Yes, I regret who I lost it to but, I don't regret loosing it young. I seriously don't. I think I was mature enough & ready to make that choice. Years later, I still don't have a baby. I'm very careful. If I did happen to get pregnant, I'd be over joyed & take care of my baby. Abortions are wrong. I'd use adoption only if I absolutely HAD to.

yes. in some states you cant legally have sex till the age of 15 or 16 because even though u think your ready your body might not be. Plus it depends on what age the guy is. if you are under 15 you dont need to be having sex at all. and if you are over 15 and the guy is over 18 than that is also illegal. if i were you i'd go to http://www.actwin.com/eatonohio/gay/consent.htm and they have age of consent laws for every state. so check out your state and see what it is.

truthfully age doesnt really matter, it just depends on the person, yourself, maturity whether or not its safe, cause i mean u dont want to end up with a baby on your hands
it aslo depends on physically are u ready to have sex your body is a major factor, if to your body isnt ready then it can have some major side effects but usually this isnt the case
u might want to consider your feelings, i mean if u feel nothing for the person then just dont do it, sex works between both partners

Age doesn't really matter unless you're underage. Personally, I don't think kids should be having sex. They usually arent' mature enough to handle the potential consequences. After you're 18, it's really up to you.
