Simmer for about 3 minutes and if any bacteria are present they won't be!

You can re-use marinades But you must bring it to a boil to kill any bacteria - let it cool and then put the fish in - but depending on the amount of tomato and vinegar you have in it the acid from them may start to cook the fish - I also would not steam but rather bake and then pour the remaining marinade over fish in the last 5 minutes of baking And for all you so called EXPERTS - Salmonella dies at 165 degrees I boil ( which is 212 degrees ) marinades all the time and use as a sauce - particularly with asian foods

Unless you've been hiding under a rock for the last couple years, I'm sure you've heard of the Paleo Diet. Read here https://tr.im/paleorecipes
I hate to even call it a diet, because it's really just the real way that humans have eaten for almost 1.9 Million years, as opposed to the modern-day processed food diet full of grains, sugars, and processed vegetable oils.

um, 3-4 minutes ought to suffice

maybe in the future, reserve some of the marinade to use as sauce, dont' put it all on the raw chicken.
