You see religious groups invading other people's privacy and daily life, protesting at other people's work place, homes, etc.
Why don't the atheists do the same against religious groups? Why not protest at churches, temples, religious-related work places, and their homes?
clearly these religious groups don't give much consideration and care towards those they target. so why not defeat them at their own game?
same with other groups too like peta.

ok, so let's just leave the bad apples alone and have no accountability. let them roam wild and degrade others and ruin others' lives. is that ok too?

would be nice to see good christians going against bad christians, since apparently the good christians don't want to be mistargeted.
where's the christianness in the good christians? or would they rather be indifferent?

@ AdoreHim, you're funny. do you notice or realize your circular logic which is an oxymoron. you cry out why atheists do this and that then say god will punish them. but atheists don't believe in a god. what you said only makes sense to you and people like you. it doesn't validate that there is a god. saying it doesn't justice the validity. is that too hard to understand?
and by the way, USA has something called separation of church and state. it's only logical and lawful to abide by that. just because you believe in your god, doesn't mean that everyone else must to, or that there actually is a god. it's only arrogant to think and act out as such.

@ candi_k7, I'm just asking. calm down. seems very one sided on the religious fanatics side to me. and the ten commandments and the word god in money are about separation of church and state issues. What does that have to do with physically protesting and be all in your face invading other people's privacy and lives, like how these religious fanatics are doing?!

Waste of time. Seriously. The more you focus on the things you don't want, the more the things you don't want will seem to happen.

hummm maybe you are forgetting,"take down the Ten Commandment out of Court rooms" maybe you are forgetting "remove God from the Money" maybe you forget that many Christians have been persecuted and crucified just like our Lord in the past. you don't even have a clue do you? People have been protesting against almost every faith...Do you think the Bill of Rights is just for you? You want your freedom of speech and freedom of religion (or not to have it) but don't give the same rights to other and you call us hypocrites...sheesh.
Edited ...there is no such thing as separation of Church and State...it says that Congress Shall PASS NO LAW ESTABLISHING A RELIGION. that means the Government can not form a religion to make the masses follow. It does not mean that people can not freely speak about their God or anything else of this manner.

Well it may be partly to do with the fact that those people are all actual groups. They have a get together as a group agenda/cause they all agree on. Us however...we're individual people, little to no group mentality. Which, based on it being strictly atheists, would make it hard to gather people up for a protest. It's not exactly easy to find each other as it is since many/most don't talk about their views outside the internet.

Well think about it, have people stopped having abortions, No.
Have people stopped being gay. no. im sure athiests realize that it is pointless to put an effort toward protesting against religion. And most religious groups would see it as some kind of fulfillment of some vague prophecy and become religious fanatics...or worse..extremists.

So because some Christians act like #*$holes, we should treat all Christians with disrespect?
No thanks. I don't think it's nice. Besides, those rabid Christians aren't doing anything but convincing everyone that they are crazy. Why would I want people to see me the same way? It's counterproductive. Plus, then they'll have the "proof" they've been looking for that they're terribly persecuted.

Ever heard of Richard Dawkins? Even though Atheists don't exactly protest against Christians there are many of them who are vocally anti-Christian.
But why should you attack a large group of people based on the actions of a minority. If you got mugged by a black guy would
you join the kkk?

WOA!! not all Christians are against abortion and homosexuality. Why do people feel like they have to put labels on everything including something so personal like religion. I was raised Christian, but feel like my relationship to God is not wrapped up ia a word or any man-made organization.
And for the record, I support a womans right to chose and also support homosexuality.

I see no reason to sink to those levels; I have more productive uses for my time.
People have the right to belief in their homes and churches; it just needs to stay out of the government.

Yes I think it's time to challenge these deluded individuals and hold them up to the ridicule they deserve, They've gotten away with their insane tyranny for far too long... two millenia too long.
