How deep do you want to go?
What about ... what does it mean to be doing the work of the Lord?
What does it mean to be reaching out in love to those who are lost? What would that look like?

Or how about this.
What if Jesus really meant what He said when He said Love God with all your heart, mind spirit, and to love your neighbor as your self. Or... What if Jesus meant what He said when He said anything? Are we as Christians really giving ourselves over to the Holy Spirit to accomplish God's will in this place and in this time?
What does that look like?

Talk about Jacobs favorite son and how his older brothers were so jealous of him they sold him into slavery. But Joseph could interpret tha Pharoahs dream and was given a high place with the Pharoah. When there was famine jacob sent his sons to buy food from egypt and they did not recognize Joseph.Later joseph told them who he was and forgave them and sent for his father to and they all lived with Joseph happily.

It would have helped if I knew something of the age range of your group. However, let me try this:
Why do people need faith in their lives or is fate the only answer?
Hope that this will get you started. Good luck.

Read the book of James...I love that book, and it has lots of good stuff...
Or focus on Matthew 6:34 (my fav verse) :Do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today's trouble is enough for today. Actually, all of Matthew 6 is good, talking about God promising to take care of us and all that good stuff....

Do a Connection Thing with the Bible.

Look:
Jesus is "The Word of GOD".
Jesus is GOD.
GOD is "Light".
GOD is "Love" so on---get the Picture?

You'll be Amazed at How Much you can Learn about The Creator (GOD, Jesus) if you'll just do some Algebra (if a=b, b=c, then a=c!) and "Connect"!

Ask something about how some other religions are "expected" to try to convert others or press the issue on those who aren't the same religion...are we "supposed" to do that, too?
