No, you cannot. At least one of the couple must be Catholic.

Yes and no
Most Catholic churches will not marry non-Catholics. However, if you take classes and convert to Catholicism they will allow you to marry in the church. Each church is different on it's individual policies and what not. Some churches (regardless of denomination) won't marry non-members. I would suggest that you check out mass a couple times and then talk to the Priest.

No, you are not allowed to be married in a Catholic Church if neither one of you is Catholic. For Catholic marriage is a sacrament, a holy imparting of Grace from God, and one cannot "fake it" as two non-Catholics would have to because they do not share the same belief.
Perhaps your village has some other lovely setting that would substitute?

Absolutely not, when catholics get married they promise to honour the catholic faith and bring up any children of the marriage as catholics so unless you want to become catholic there is absolutely no chance, it does not matter about the money the Catholic church does not charge their parishioners to marry them. Having said that it is customary to give a small donation towards the cost of heating, altar servers etc
Dixie 58 - I think you have misread the question the catholic church is not wanting to force their religion on her, SHE wants to marry in the church

The Catholic Church considers matrimony a Sacrament.
While it is commendable that you want to be married in a church, it is unlikely you wuold be able to have a wedding in a Catholic church- especially since you are not Catholic.
An exception would be if that location is a shrine church....you'll need to call and ask, but generally, nonCatholic services cannot be held in a Catholic church except under extraordinary circumstances. ( such as another church burning down, and the Catholic church sharing their space)
You'll need to call and ask.

Getting married in a Catholic church is a Catholic sacrament. So, according to the Canon law, you have to have been baptized as a Catholic in order to be married in a Catholic church.

I know of one wedding held in a Catholic church where neither bride nor groom were Catholic. The church was simply booked for a wedding to take place. The Catholic clergy did not participate, and the bridal party brought their own celebrant.

Well you will have to talk to the priest, he wont marry you but you may be able to hire the actual church, and get a vicar to come and do the honours, or a registrar, if its the only church in the village its probably used for both religions, at different times obviously, the only way you can really find out is to ask!

My daughter is marrying a Catholic and she does not practice a religion. She must attend classes and teachings in order to marry in the Catholic church. I dont know what they do if neither of you are affiliated with the Catholic church.

That depends. I wanted to get married in a Catholic church, but since we weren't members, would could not. I thought this was just exclusive to the small church we were looking at, but the reality was it was something standard across the board.

Hi, I´m Catholic. a couple who dedides to be married in Church does it because they want God in their lives.
There`re many couples, and the most part get married being Catholic but they don´t believe and don´t practice the religion.
I think you shouldn´t do it, but you decide and if its the begining of something good for you, IT¨S OK. May be if you get married in a Church something could happen and you could believe in God. REMEMBER, YOU DECIDE. From my heart I want the best for you. Best Wishes...
