Can they really find beef without any hormones nowadays?

If they sell it as "hormone-free" and you can prove that it has added hormones, it is a civilly actionable offense. I doubt many places would lie, given the possibility of being sued over it. Many chain stores such as Whole Foods and Wild Oats have hormone free beef, as do some other retailers, so it's not impossible to find, just costs a bit more. Hope this helps.

Yes, I think you can trust it. Talk to the butcher. I'm pretty sure hormone-free = organic, so it's not too hard to find.

What he is selling is Organic Meat
It is great for you. you will find that it is more expensive but believe me better for you in the long run
Plus I think you will find a noticable difference in the taste
It will be interesting to see what range of meats he has
so go for it
