Rain is needed to put out the California wildfires, and to replenish the Southeastern US, which has been devastated by drought. Please pray for a gentle soaking 3 day rain to put out those fires now, before anyone else dies.

I have been praying for rain, and will continue to do so. I live in a drought area of the southeast. It is raining today and we are supposed to get 3 inches of rain by Wednesday. Praise God!

Ah, yes. I saw that on the news. Horrible. Last June, my city was threatened by a wildfire. It began to rain just in the nick of the time. Now it won't quit. But hey, I'm not complaining.

Praying for rain is a beautiful sentiment, especially when people need it so badly. I can't be sure whether or not prayer works or if it's just coincidence most of the time, but either way, it feels good to hope. And I hope for that rain that California so desperately needs right now. I would also like to add that I hope everyone gets out of harm's way so that no one is killed.

Hey, this is the acid test for the most dedicated and faithfull Christian... although any ordinary Christian should do. PRAY FOR RAIN like Elijah did

James 5:17-18 (NIV) Elijah was a man just like us. He prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the land for three and a half years. Again he prayed, and the heavens gave rain, and the earth produced its crops.

I Believe that they blame the homosexuals for the lack of rain, especially in California!

We've had up to 6 inches of rain since yesterday, and more coming overnight. There is flooding AGAIN all over the New Orleans area. Homes and businesses are being flooded. I will suggest to the rain gods that they direct their efforts elsewhere.

Sure. I will ask for rain in the western and southern sections of the country when I do a ritual to Zeus tonight.

Zeus is merciful. He will send rain.

I've just made a prayer for that wildfire to stop,..and leave it to The Almighty for the way to stop it ---either by rain, or by firemen, or by the wind having shifted to calmness,..or by Him directly snuffing it off via His own merciful power.
