Do resorts in mexico help mexico's economy?
if so does anyone know any websites where i could get information like that?

Yes they do. They employ thousands, bring tourist money into the economy, and improve the infrastructure.
I imagine if you Google Mexican tourism you could find info.

Yes, of course, tourism is a major industry there - not as big a contributor to the economy as oil revenues or remittances from Mexican nationals working in America, but still substantial.

Yes they do... .even if most resorts are foreign they still pay taxes, they need to buy provisions (from local dealers) they employ a lot of people and ppl staying there can spend a few bucks somewhere else which is great for the communities.

No they really don't help anyone but the people that own them and the local officials they have to pay bribes to. then again, if you concider the $2.50 - $3 a day most of the employees that are working there make. It does have a minor impact on the local government.
