Not that everyone does this but:
R&S Rule #1 -
Don't read the question in order to make sure you understand what it is asking. Instead, assume you know and make a big stink about it.

I've done it a couple of times but no big stink. Mainly it was a targeted question of which I was not considered a part of the target.
You know, 'Women only or pagan only.."

no, it's read the question but not any of the details then assume you know and make a big stink about it.

They do not read what the question is. They, also, do not read what they wrote as an answer.
R&S Rule #2-
If you are an Evangelical Christian you must go out and change everyone's belief in God. It is your way or the highway.
They forget that they are 6 billion people on this world and only a small percentage are Evangelists.

I'm guilty of doing that once or twice. But then, the fact that I know that shows that I at least went back to look after I answered. Some people won't even bother to do that.
It's the tendency to answer without reading that makes satire nearly impossible on here. I started off doing satire, but only a handful of people got it. It made it so much less fun that way, so I gave it up.

My favorite was when a question was asked about Charles Darwin and an Objectivist thought it was about Dawkins. So off he went on a long answer about his god Ayn Rand and Richard Dawkins being too smart for us other atheists/christians/jews/muslims to understand.
I don't think he ever noticed his oopsie.
In my own case, glancing past one preposition changed the meaning of some questions in my mind. Once I responded, then corrected. The other numerous times I pause in the middle of typing and ask myself "did you read that correctly?"

Okay I admit, a couple of times I read it the wrong way. I rarely make a big stink about anything though, not worth it.

Well I think there are dual universal truths on R&S - you ask six or seven questions as one question and they only answer one or half of one with little to no source material this is the other universal truth here. It has equal billing with the one you mark #1, so ... go figure. LOL - and of course find your spelling and grammar errors AFTER you post and go back and fix later. sigh that's me.

You just need to figure out how to precisely state your question in small words and a short paragraph, so no one can misunderstand. It's NOT an easy thing to do!

True.
R&S Rule #2 -
If the question mentions "God," all the non-religious must submit a post that says, "There is no god," while all the relgious must submit a post saying, "God the father, the almighty holy spirit of whom I am not worth and am a rotten sinner and supplicate myself before Him, yada, yada, yada ..... " ..... no matter what the actually question is.
(sigh) lol

lol, not all the time - but often, yes. I've made the mistake as well, then reread the question and edited once I realized my assumption was wrong.....
