My husband came home today with the girls, see question I asked last night

He was stuck at the Airport with flight delays and he asked his brother to ring me and let me know that he was going to be late and also the Army Officer, it was his brother that rang me, and made out he was my hubby, my hubby said he will never take the girls agin to see his family again

All they did was run me down because I am a Catholic and he has started the RCIA, they were upset with this

Why do they hate me, is it because I am a Catholic, they are Baptist, why do they want to hurt my girls and me?

I dont know why they hate you and I hope it is not because you are Cathlolic. In fact I hope they dont hate you at all. But if what you say is true, they are certainly not acting like a Baptist should . I doubt they are practicing Baptists but only are labeling themselves Baptists . This is not the fruit of a true Christian, Baptist, Catholic or whatever . There is absolutely no place for this kind of hate in the heart of anyone who names Jesus as their Lord. They need to examine their faith and ask you for forgiveness. Since they are your husband's relatives it is his duty to straighten these weasels out. Hopefully he can appeal to them and get an apology for you. You definately deserve one. If not, dont lower yourself to their level, by hurling insults back, but remain true to God and your faith in Jesus Christ . He will deliver you one way or the other.

Wow I just read your last question. These weasels are so low they need a ladder to climb over a snake. Your husband's duty is clear , he must directly confront his brother and whoever else conspired in this evil deed. He must choose you his wife over his brother. Next to God he is to love you and your children more than anyone else including his brother and his parents. If he refuses to confront them for this outrageous lie and harassment , then he is out of line as well. Now I can say for sure that these weasels are not Christians at all. No true Christian would ever do such a thing. I am praying that your husband will do the right thing and rebuke his brother . O God I pray that this young ladie's husband will stand by his wife as you commanded . I pray that he will rebuke his brother and those responsible for this will repent of their sin, apologize and reconcile themsevles to this wronged child of God. I ask it in Jesus name Amen

Because they were probably taught all their lives that Catholics are evil. They can't help it. They think they're doing what's best. Maybe get them a Baltimore Catechism book. ( I say Baltimore Catechism because they might actuallly read it)

And pray for them. Pray to the patron saint of Converts and St. Jude and ask for Mary's intercession. Remember she was a mother too and she constanly worried about the fate of her son.

If you decide to stop talking to them, you may need a lawyer to keep them from sueing you.

I am Baptist and I do not hate catholics-- please make sure you understand that just because they are rude and hateful doesnt mean we all are..
