My girlfreind has been trying to break up with me for 2 months now. We had a few problems in the past but she keeps bringing them up. She says that she cannot live with what happened. I have been fighting to try and keep her but I was thinking I should let her go and see what she does. I think she has to see how it is without me. What should I do? I heard about th saying if you let something go and it comes back to you then it is yours forever.. Is this really true?

Sometimes. this problem is not your girlfriends its yours if she wants to break up with you then you don't belong together and she is not happy. you will find someone else. if you both break up though and get back together the problem is still there that caused the breakup in the first place Let it go

You made a mistake and this has been going on for 2 months, or 60 days more or less. Do you realise how much happiness you are missing out on. If she can't forget what has happened in the past, and move on, it would be a terrible time together. You will never be able to move on to the future. Time to break up, let her go, and you need to find out if you find another girl, or she comes back are you going to make the same mistakes again? Work on yourself, and find out WHY you did what you did, maybe you knew all along it wasn't meant to be.

Breakups are often painful--and sometimes brutally so. I've been where you are. 1 great life truth is, it's easier to start a new relationship than to fix a broken one. Your GF is probably already done with you in your head. She's probably merely trying to figure out the best way so she doesn't come off as a *****, thereby breaking up with you having a social consequence.

You are sad...you want to be happy again...quickest way is to start fresh with someone else...therefore...do it!

I had a similar situation becuase I made a mistake. I still think about her but in a different way. I just want to see how her life turned out.

She may or may not come back to you. You should be prepared for the worst but expect the best. Time will tell and you may need to get over her at some point.

God bless buddy!

You know what,if you are as good a guy as you sound, then she is obviously not the girl for you.And maybe you will be better off without her.Wouldn't you like a day without someone airing your past dirty laundry every milli second of your life.
GET OVER HER

Maybe a separation is best. If one of you is trying and the other isn't, that's not a relationship. And no, if you let something go and it comes back to you, it's not your forever. It's a nice thought though.

Don't forget the second part of that quote...'but if it doesn't come back, then it wasn't meant to be.'
