Absolutely not. Lard is good for a dog in order to fatten him up so that when he is boiled for a Korean takeaway his meat does not diminish too much. If possible, prior to boiling him, give him a few packs of Doritos, a McDonalds happy meal and a Pizza Hut. This way he will retain his bulk and be good to eat.
There's too much sentimentality associated with dogs. Eat the yappy buggers I say.

of course you should ..lard could be very harmful for his little doggy woggy heart.....
much better to amputate one of your own legs and feed it to poor little pooch.
