I have introduced kittens and cats of all ages to each other with very few problems. Yes, you will have hissing, spitting and maybe an argument or two, but eventually the kitten and your male will get along. I would not bring the kitten into the house until after you get your boy fixed. Right now I have 2 males and a female and they all get along great. I have introduced males to females, males to males, females to females and except for the typical hissing and spitting for about a week, it has worked.

Well I won't offer advice. I'll just say my story which is I got a month old kitten to be the friend to my 2 year old cat. They're alittle friendly with each other NOW but they don't cuddle. They can sit next to each other on the window sill and the food bowls and the litter box but in the beginning the cat hated the kitten but she got over it. I just let them work things out by themselves for the most part

I got a 2nd cat after my 1st one was over 6 yrs old. The first one hissed at the new kitty for 2 weeks and then they became friends. Start off by keeping them in cages in the same room. They'll deal with it. GOOD LUCK!

I think it will be fine, but you really have to get the male cat fixed, or you will end up with kittens...
At first the older cat will be mad, and probably hide or act out but give it a couple days and they will be buds

No matter the sex, when the time comes to get it fixed do it,two younger cats will get along quicker than an adult cat and a kitten will.So yes i would get the little bugger

Cats don't like "intruders" in the beginning, but adjust really well. Take the kitten and give it a good home.
