I'm assuming this is all hypothetical.
In all honesty,
I don't really see the problem with incest,
I find it weird and it makes me uncomfortable,
but it's peoples lives.
Except,
I'm against it,
because re-using all those genes again and again,
is more likely to cause defections in the kids.
So it's not safe or healthy.
That is why it's frowned upon.
Therefore,
your grand-daughter may or may not be different.
She may have a physical or mental disorder,
or might just have an unusually low IQ,
or she could be perfectly fine.

Your granddaughter is also your second cousin once removed, if I did the math right.
While studies have shown that there isn't necessarily any harm in marriages between first cousins, too much inter-breeding within the same family group can increase the chances of certain genetic anomalies and conditions, so I wouldn't encourage any more intermarriages if possible. Widening the gene pool might be a healthy choice.

There is a reason it is illegal to marry your 1st cousins. Too much incest breeding can cause mutation and general decline in health. Hope your granddaughter doesn't have a child with her first cousin because that child might be born with three eyes or blue skin like that back wood family in Kentucky.

the reason most ppl are saying freak is because they think the baby is some mutant.
in fact, many many years ago coousins married amongst each other. but people find it weird because one, some think its like marrying your brother/sister and 2, due to genes, there IS a possibility the baby ends up with a disability/

Inbreeding will magnify both flaws and advantages of a certain lineage. She is much more likely to have a problem with recessive genes, which is why it is usually illegal to marry a close relative.

Well, it's okay to marry and have a baby with your first cousin ONCE in the family line, for not much harm will be done.
But repetitive first cousin marriage and babies, WILL do harm!

Yes, she has a much smaller gene pool - cousins don't share as many genes as siblings, but they do share some.
This would put her at higher risk for any hereditary diseases.
