I did find a 3 star hotel that offered this a while back but unfortunately I can't seem to find it online. Thanks very much in advance. xxxx

Only reply if you have anything to contribute as its ridiculous the number of people who reply with unhelpful comments just so they can gain points!

The Salisbury is in the theatre district and within walking distance of MOMA and across from portions of Central Park. It has rooms with balconies overlooking the city. To get the ideal room, I registered on-line one month in advance. DO register on line. A number of rooms are set aside for on line reservations and the front desk reservations department will tell you they have no rooms because they do not track the on line reservations. It's almost like they're 2 separate hotels. It's has everything you're looking for I think. We went there for our 30th wedding anniversary and they treated us with great kindness.

I gotta tell ya, when I visit NYC, I do little in my hotel room besides sleep. None of the hotels I've stayed at have had particularly good views, much less balconies (not balcony's; that's a possessive) from which to enjoy them. Get a decent clean room, forget the view, and enjoy all the city has to offer from street level.

And, no, I'm not doing this for the two points. I'm suggesting this because it's my advice.

yes. try www.jollymadison.com. the hotel is located on 38th and Madison. The have 3-4 rooms with balconies. the one on the west side of the hotel face Madison Ave and have Empire State Building view. if you do place the reservation make sure you request the room with the Balcony.
